A welcoming beautiful and fun place to stay. I stayed here for two weeks in December 2023. I definitely recommend Hostel ***tra for solo female travelers. Its hard to describe how welcomed and cared for I felt by the staff and owner Ashish. The view of the lake from the balcony is stunning and the activities are really fun! I went on the sunset tour 4 times, sang In Karaoke, took a cooking class, and ate amazing Christmas dinner. There are always fun groups of travelers to hang out with. This was my first time booking a hostel for accommodation, and I am grateful that I chose Hostel ***tra. From ***agement to room service, everything was top-notch. Additionally, the condition of the bunk bed and washrooms were pristine. But what really seals the deal is the vibe; rooftop sunsets, karaoke, and movie nights – it’s the cherry on top. To sum it up, I feel grateful for making some friends ***** the way and can vouch that the experience at Hostel ***tra is totally worth it.

Excellent maintenance, people and beer. Great view for sunset and group of people to chill with, will miss those karaoke nights🥲.

Very rude customer service. They don’t clear the instructions and room details before hand. I will never recommend it to anyone.Bad washroom and rooftop maintenance. The person at front desk raise the volume even when we were clearing the details politely. Worst experience ever.

Great hostel. Staff are genuinely so nice and friendly - really made an effort with each person staying at the hostel. The sunrise moped ride cannot be missed! Also the hostel runs Poker in the evening on the rooftop - they are very patient with beginners and it turned out to be great fun.

I had an amazing experience at Hostel ***tra. Sadly I could stay there for only one day as I came here on my last day at Udaipur and had booked tickets for my next destination earlier itself. The volunteers there were very friendly and helpful. The sunset view from the rooftop with the free chai was icing on the top. They also had some fun activities which we were unable to attend and would definitely do next time. Next time I visit Udaipur, would definitely stay at Hostel ***tra also for a longer duration.

Let me make it simple for you all! If this place is in your budget or even slightly exceeds...Don't think twice... Just BOOK IT!!!! The owner is chill..... The receptionist will take care of you..... Food is Good... even if all this does not convince you... Sunset from the roof will ....

From the moment we stepped into the hostel and were greeted by the vibrant Ms. Dwisha, to the heartfelt assistance provided by Mr. A*** upon our departure, every moment was filled with happiness. The hostel's beauty and the breathtaking view from the rooftop added to the charm of our stay. Its proximity to major tourist attractions made exploring the area a breeze. We're already looking forward to returning soon to create more unforgettable memories.
