Lovely elegant hotel with excellent location a few steps from the Plaza Major but in a quiet street. Parking instruction were good and we were met by a lovely lady who explained how to return to the main Square and underground parking; you are able to stop outside the hotel and unload the luggage! The executive twin room was spacious and comfortable and over looked the small street. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was good and clean! Lift to rooms. Breakfast was a little chaotic one day with one staff covering cooked breakfast and the bar, and the cooked eggs could have been a little better!! The hotel is also pet friendly....a lovely 2 night stay! We would stay again....
I've stayed at this hotel twice before, once in 2017 and again in 2018, each time for over a week. When I needed to return to Valladolid recently, I didn't think twice about rebooking at the Enara. But never again. It's definitely gone downhill. Overall, the hotel looks tired, in need of a revamp. It just seemed not quite as clean as previous visits. On arrival, they had no knowledge of my previous visits and therefore my loyalty to their hotel. Then they tried to palm me off with a room in which a previous occupant had clearly been smoking. It stank terribly. In fairness, when I reported that the room was unacceptable, they quickly found me an alternative. But why did they try it on in the first place? Then I discovered that the toilet didn't flush properly, requiring 5 or 6 flushes before clear water returned - and this in spite of a lot of water being discharged each flush but clearly not directed in the right place. I reported the problem and was told it would be fixed, but it never was, so I just had to put up with it and waste a lot of precious water. I had a double room booked for 2 people but the wardrobe contained only 4 coat hangers. My wife would have gone berserk if she'd accompanied me! The hotel I'd stayed at in the centre of Madrid had 18 coat hangers. But why so few at the Enara? Once again, after I reported the shortfall, more hangers were installed very soon afterwards. And such an antiquated internet system! For some strange reason, when you check, you get an automatic allowance of 5 days' free use of their internet but I was staying for longer. I was in the middle of writing a long email coincidently exactly 5 days after checking in when suddenly my internet disappeared. I was not best pleased. So I had to traipse all the way to reception to get another 5 days. Virtually all other hotels I've stayed in around the world in recent years just give you the codes and that's it - no need to get new ones. The rooms don't have safes, let alone ones big enough to take a laptop, which is becoming the norm these days. A minor ******. The hotel has two adjacent lifts - they're bang next door to one another. And yet they operate independently - so you can't just press one lift button and leave it to the lifts to work out which one could service you the quickest. I'm aware of the struggles the global hotel industry has had as a result of the pandemic but some just seem to have got their acts together much better than the Enara. There are plenty of other good hotels in Valladolid, similarly priced, some much closer to the city centre. So, sadly, when I return to this lovely city, I shan't be staying a fourth time at the Enara.
This hotel, near the Ribera del Douro wine country, was perfect in every other way but one thing. Our extremely large room, a suite, was superb in every way with a price that was one-third the price of our hotel in San Sebastián. The location was central to everything with a nearby parkway that had many restaurants. The staff were wonderful and helpful. We particularly appreciate the daily breakfast option just off the lobby. The hotel parking, once found, was a nice safe and convenient option in the heart of a dense and lively city, One of Spain’s top wine regions was just 50 minutes away. The only difficult thing about this hotel was the “no warning” nor any advanced information provided about the parking situation upon check in. There literally were no parking spaces within blocks of the hotel for a quick 15 min. check-in. We accidently parked in front of a private garage for ten minutes while the owner walked to the hotel to express her anger. There was no help by the hotel in advance of this obviously daily problem. Once getting by this initial issue, we had a glorious stay!

Large Room and bathroom, AC, Minibar. Nice and diversified breakfast. Close but not direct in center of the city of Valladolid (15-20 min walk to Plaza Mayor) All the ingredients to enjoy a professional stay without any surprise.
We booked a twin room here overnight, having had a nice stay here before. Check in was fine and after being allocated our room, I asked about receiving the complimentary beverage which comes with the booking, having had two small beers on our last visit . The receptionist was not very accommodating and said it is only water in your room. ( this turned out to be “ pay for “ in the mini bar). Rather than cause an argument over a few euros drink, I dropped the matter and let ******* know on the questionnaire they had sent. The room was fine and clean, note ; no tea/coffee making facilities. On returning to the hotel after going out for dinner we went into the bar to watch the football and naturally have a few drinks. Around 2130 we noticed the staff were laying up for breakfast and were banging things on the tables and clearly did not want us in there. This became even more so, around 15 minutes later when we were told they were closing the bar and we had to leave. We were told we could watch the football in our room !! This was 2145 in the evening. I was disgusted, what a disgraceful way to treat paying guests . Apart from that , the hotel was actually advertising outside for people to come into the bar and watch the sport. The next morning we had breakfast which was fine , the waitress there was probably the only really decent and accommodating member of staff at this hotel. On checking out, I gave the hotel a final chance to redeem themselves and asked the female receptionist about the two complimentary drinks we should have had, but she was just not interested. We left, unlikely to return.
Can't beat the location right in the heart of Valladolid within walking distance to everything. The room was modern and clean and the little balcony had a great view of the street and surrounding neighborhood. The area immediately surrounding the hotel has some of the best bars/restaurants in the city. They stay open late, but our room was quiet and we slept great. Noise was not an issue. The lady at the front desk recognized I was learning Spanish and she spoke slowly, which was very nice as it allowed me to understand everything regarding how to park our car (they have on site parking) and everything else about our room, the stay, etc. If you're looking for a very nice place to stay in Valladolid, this is your spot.
Stayed three nights in a top floor room (515) on a business trip. A modern and comfortable room with no view. Still being in the winter season the room was very hot but easily rectified by opening the window. The bathroom was large with large bath tub and bidet and bright with cream tiles. The positioning of the liquid soap dispensers was not ideal for access when sitting in the bath. The room had a light coloured wooden floor and was spacious with a writing desk and chair. Also useful was the kettle for making teas and coffees. On the first morning there was a large queue for breakfast but the room was opened out from day two onwards. The breakfast is simple but adequate and there is very good coffee from the machine. This is a modern hotel in an older building overlooking the park and about ten minutes walk from Plaza Mayor. The hotel is ideal for a short break in Valladolid and I would use it again.
The restaurant is excellent. Food is really good, it is kind of Spanish/fusion style food. The menu is great just for 14€, or 12€ the express menu Monday through Friday. The terrace is also nice, specially during the summer and spring seasons.
