We had a great stay here for 3 nights. The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do. Quick walk to the water taxi for train station, and short walk to San Marco square. The friendliest employees and our room was great. We stayed in the suite with two king beds, our 20 year old son was traveling with us and was perfect!

We loved our stay at Friendly Venice Suites and highly recommend. The rooms are gorgeous and clean! We arrived early and was greeted by the awesome owner, Giacomo! Great place for couples and family.

My husband and I traveled from Texas, US to Venice for the first time to celebrate our retirement and 40th wedding anniversary. After a long flight, challenging water bus journey (because it was all new to us), we arrived at the hotel we’d booked months in advance only to find the AC wasn’t working. We searched for another hotel and thankfully, we found Friendly Venice Suites! We called to see if there was a room available and to get directions—getting around Venice proved challenging! The owner, Giacomo, met us at the statue just outside the hotel and walked us there personally. We were so relieved to feel cool air when we walked in! Then, we were blown away by the accommodations of our room which was not just a room, but a beautiful suite! It was such a nice surprise! The room had every comfort you could imagine. Giacomo was also very gracious in helping us find things and giving directions. If you ever find yourself in Venice, don’t hesitate to stay at Friendly Venice Suites! You will be well cared for! Out of a 5 star recommendation, I’d give it a 10. Five just isn’t enough. J. Austin

This was not what we were expecting but we still liked our stay. We arrived and there was literally no one there. We had to call the hotel reservation number and wait for someone to arrive, but luckily we could get into the place to wait. It seems to be a revised bed and breakfast place maybe. It was difficult to find. That being said, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was nice, very large for a European hotel room, and refreshingly cold after long days in the heat. There was a noisy party outside our room the first night, but I think that was just bad luck and the other nights were peaceful. There is no breakfast, no concierge and no laundry service as advertised. We didn’t care too much about that, though we were counting on laundry service. The housekeeping provided was very good. There is no view. It is convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, and St. Marks. We enjoyed our stay here overall.

Very expensive. Ok location

I was travelling with my adult son and it was a challenge to find accommodation with 2 separate rooms and beds. This fit the bill in an amazingly convenient location to all the sites but far enough away from the noise. Like all places in Venice it was a bit tricky to find and get to but not too bad as it is right in the corner of Campo Santo Stefano. I think writing the directions on the site would be helpful as even google maps gets a bit confused. Small detail as our stay was amazing! Very clean!

Located on Campo Santo Stefano. Very spacious. Only three units up one short flight of stairs. Daily housekeeping, cold ac, lots of hot water. Very centrally located - check location on map. Used Alilaguna to get to airport. Description is not entirely adequate - no washer, dryer, or kitchen. Owner very accommodating and helpful.

Han sido unos días para no olvidar. Viendo y visitando cada rincón de Venecia… sus canales,sus puentes y sus paseos en todo tipo de barcos. Cada esquina y edificio más llamativo que el anterior… la plaza de San Marcos inigualable ,el Rialto o sus pequeñas calles y canales. Hay que volver si o si El hotel y su habitación espectaculares. Giacomo un sol de persona siempre atento a todo. Recomiendo este hotel al 100%.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti in una camera fantastica, ringraziamo Giacomo per averci riservato l’attenzione di una camera bellissima e con una stupensa vista si Campo Santo Stefano! L’ambiente è stato sempre super pulito, fresco e confortevole, Giacomo sempre gentilissimo, tutto ciò ha reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile, non posso fare altro che raccomandare Friendly Venice.
