We had a wonderful stay at Butterfly Verona. Beautiful boutique hotel, amenities and wonderful service from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. It is certainly the place to stay in Verona walking distance to everything the old town offers. It will be hard to top on our month long tour around Italy!

My wife and I only stayed one night in Verona, but the hotel was fantastic! The couple who own the hotel were very nice and helpful, as was the one staffer we met. The room was very comfortable. It's definitely a small, boutique hotel. And, the location was fantastic. We walked everywhere we wanted to go -- very nice not to need a car.

It is a hostel with hotel prices. It is a flat in a building divided into a few rooms. They rent you a spacious modern room but without any of the services that a hotel can offer. There are people the day you arrive and the day you leave because they ask you your schedule but the rest of the time when you go to your room there is no one, it looks like a ghost place. At night you enter a building without light where there is no one and it is not pleasant. For this price you go to a hotel where you have services that make your stay luxurious. Being able to have breakfast and go out to visit the city without having to go back to your room from the street to brush your teeth or when you return to your room you can ask a local about the city or have a smile to greet you on your return and not a cold keyboard where you can dial your password.

The Butterfly Boutique Rooms are absolute perfection. Gian Matteo and Laura have spared no expense and poured love into creating an exquisite range of rooms showcasing the best of Italian design and style. The location is superb- tucked away quietly but bang in the centre of this gorgeous city. We arrived to find delicious homemade pastries, a lovely bottle of wine and a well-stocked complimentary fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable and our en suite was fabulous with incredible attention to detail- superb products and even a mask to soak away tired eyes from long travels. But it is the service and warmth of welcome that make this place so very special- Gian Matteo , Laura and their team could not have done more to make our stay completely perfect. They are rightly incredibly proud of their wonderful accommodation and it was clearly important to them that our stay was faultless - which it was. My husband was a bit disappointed to be missing his beloved Man City playing - which was only available on SKY- so we nipped out for a coffee instead. On our return, the TV in our room had been set up with SKY ( using one of the teams personal account) so he could watch the game. Such a thoughtful gesture. The Butterfly Boutique rooms combine the best qualities of a hotel stay with the best of staying in a luxurious private apartment. We left feeling so relaxed it was only when we got all the way to Lake Garda that we realised we had left our passports behind in the safe at Butterfly Rooms. Gian Matteo had them hand despatched to us and refused to allow us to give hin payment. So, even after we had left the building, the service continued to be outstanding! My husband and I have travelled all over the world with work and for pleasure and the Butterfly Rooms are as lovely as anywhere we've stayed. I cannot recommend them too highly.

What an incredible place! We had an amazing time during our stay in Verona. The owners are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure their guests are taken care of at all times. I can’t recommend Butterfly enough. The rooms are really spacious, beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Can’t wait to come back!

The other reviews say it all… perfect location, beautiful rooms with high quality products and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. But the warmth and hospitality of the hosts makes you feel completely at home. Verona is beautiful and the opera experience amazing, but thank you Laura, Gian Matthau and Marco for making our stay so special. Hopefully we will be back in the near future. Grazie mille.

Butterfly was a perfect location for us. We stayed at the end of September. Laura Matthau Gina and Marco gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. They definitely deserve 5 Stars the service was fantastic and very helpful. We stayed in room one and were so pleased with the suite. The quality was wonderful clean bright and a pleasure to stay in. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. We look forward to staying with them again. Whoever book with Butterfly will not be disappointed. The Birtwistle 🌸🌸🌸

This wonderful collection of suites is a find - beautifully hidden away and definitely one of Verona's best kept secrets. We couldn't have been happier with the beautiful rooms, the location and the wonderful Marco to look after us, he was so kind and helpful. Everything was superb, from the exquisitely comfy bed to the fabulous bathroom, & living room, all carrying that unique Italian pizzazz that made it so good. We can't recommend it highly enough, and will quite definitely return.

When reading the reviews on Trip Advisor you often 'hope' they are real, but with the Butterfly Boutique Rooms there really is no doubt - the 5*'s are genuinely deserved. I'd love to add something different but previous reviewers have said it all. It is a wonderful base, close enough to the heart of this wonderful city but in a wonderful, peaceful sector.Laura, Gian Matthau and Marco go out of their way to make sure they help with your needs not just some standard 'guest care' handed out to everyone that walks through the beautiful old door and climbs the stunning staircase. OK, the costs for staying here are premium but the quality is superb and the local knowledge is priceless
