This property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, historic. It far exceeded our expectations. Folco , the manager, was wonderful and very kind. The breakfast was delicious. We spent 2 weeks in France and this is the stay that we will remember. This was the very best experience we have ever had with lodging in and out of the US. The location is great . It is a 15 minute walk to town and great restaurants. Walking along the river and the canal was so good for the soul. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Thank you Folco

very lovely accomodation i would recommand; warm hospiting and service; room is clean; the Avignon view and environment is awsome; near the downtown where you can find nice restaraunt and supermarket; but not recommand to people who is looking for star hotel

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage . We didn’t have a view from our cottage of the Rhone and Avignon but the shared patio did and it was lovely . The location of this property was excellent , we stayed 3 nights and it was a short safe walk to the village center and there were tons of nice restaurants . If we walked the opposite way , again short and safe walk , there was a bus to Antibes (1.4 euro and 12 minutes ) The included breakfast was continental but big selection , great coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice . My only suggestion for property owner ( great guy ) is to get some better pillows . I would stay again here .

The suite was beautiful, the views were spectacular of Avignon which we enjoyed breakfast to. The service was great and the host was super lovely and is on site 24/7 to assist with anything you need. We would definitely stay again. Perfect for anyone’s stay.

We spent 3 nights at Maison Orsini and really enjoyed it. Several things about the inn were truly 5 star! First was Folco our host - he was so pleasant and helpful! He offered advice and even called for dinner reservations for us. We loved staying in Villeneuve-les-Avignon. It was peaceful and walkable with several nice restaurants for dinner. The view from the inn across the Rhone to the Papal Palace is truly spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace each morning for breakfast. We stayed in the 2 gites which while spacious were a bit dated and also didn't have a view. I didn't see the inside of the suites, but I think these may have been nicer and had pretty views too. The property is historic and charming, although sadly it has been neglected. The courtyard and pool area are lovely but overgrown with ****s. With just a little bit of TLC, the Maison Orsini could be really gorgeous again! I would still highly recommend because the B&B has so many positive things to offer.

There are 3 great things about Maison Orsini. Firstly the boutique B&B has historic charm and has been tastefully decorated in the rustic fashion. Yet every aspect of our room was absolutely bang on, aircon too. The second thing is that Folco is a caring and charming host, he gave restaurant recommendations for when their own restaurant was not open and even rang a restaurant for me. The third thing is it’s location, villeneuve les Avignon is the perfect place to stay. A 30 minute walk or 10 min by car or bus, this is the place to stay rather than Avignon itself. Lots of lovely restaurants and a smaller and picturesque place away from the bustle of the main town. Our favourite stop on a two week tour of France

Romantic Chateau style hotel with the most beautiful view overlooking Avignon from a cliff across the river! The room was large, clean, comfortable and rustic. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. Just the kind of unique property I was looking for.

Our hotel suite was simply fantastic! Our host was so accommodating, friendly & very helpful! The pool was private, surrounded by beautiful flowers and so clean-true gem! I would strongly recommend this, want to go back and so much to appreciate with this property that words don't convey the impressiveness of Maison Orsini!

Our stay in Maison Orsini was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. If you want to experience the quintessential European country home with a courtyard and beautiful gardens, this will fit the bill. The view of Avignon over the Rhone is spectacular, especially at night. The private pool was fun for a dip, although we did get eaten by mosquitos as soon as we came out. It's about a 30 minute walk to Avignon, but there are several restaurants that are just a 10 minute walk away in the town of Villeneuve-les-Avignon itself, which is an adorable town. The owner was friendly and accommodating and has some yard games set up in the courtyard for guests to play which is a fun option. Breakfast is included and it was wonderful. I'd recommend staying here for a peaceful and quiet stay. I will say that we were the only guests at the time (July) so if I were a solo traveler, I would be more comfortable in a less isolated location.
