Ames Hotel was very nice. The checkin was pleasant and the staff were all very helpful. Our room was clean & comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay there again.

One of the main reason we booked this hotel was to use the rooftop swimming pool. When we arrived we we we’re shocked to see the state of the pool….or should I say duck pond. The external glass had thick algae growing on it obscuring the view and the bottom of the pool was not visible as the water was that dirty. The rest of the property was reflective of this lack of attention to detail, in the room, bar/restaurant and service. I recommend staying elsewhere for the price they are charging for this property!

This hotel is really really nice. Rooftop pool and beanbags. Drinks and food is good also. The breakfast is good with a lot of different choices. The hotel is small with only 25 rooms or so, which gives you a good a**osphere. But the staff is the best of it all. They Are so kind and we have had the best and very personal welcome. The view is nice. Unfortunate soon a New hotel in front Will cover the view, But i would not worry, the Mountain view from the back Will forever be a stunning view to have. You can tell the hotel is only 2 years old. The rooms are very clean and bed is comfy. Thank you Ames. We are staying for 6 or 7 nights. This place has everything you want. Close to privat beach and close to city. Lots to Explore.

Ames hotel is in a prime position For restaurants, bars etc The rooms are very nice with the most amazing beds and showers also spotlessly clean. Pool and bar on the roof is lovely with nice views. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Disgusting pool a lot of hair floating The bartender was sleeping heavy, we couldn’t ask for towels. Bad service! Don’t recommend anyone to stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay! Firstly, the staff are all very professional and great people. Especially the lady at the reception is incredible especially due to her professionalism and very hospitable attitude. The hotel itself is new & modern. Our room was nice and very clean. Great shower, very comfortable bed and a nice balcony. Everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Really good cappuccinos also. Pool on the roof is small, but sufficient and very nice! They have a sauna & steam room. The sauna is well built and large. Unfortunately, the steam room wasn’t on when we went and despite of several requests, it wasn’t turned on later either, which was disappointing. The location is also good, close to many services. There’s also free parking at the hotel. Highly recommended!

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who took us to our room. Our room was spacious with a large balcony. Breakfast was excellent - great choice of fruit as well as eggs, bread, pastries etc. The coffee was freshly prepared. We loved the rooftop bar and the pool (although it is small). The hotel is in a quiet road parallel to the main seafront and has beach beds and umbrellas included in the price of the room. The only negative is that there is a major construction project in front of the hotel which will definitely impact on its sea views. There is a giant crane in just in front. However, this is clearly not the responsibility of the hotel which we thought was excellent.

The staff made our stay exceptional! Had such a great experience that we booked an additional night!
