キオストロ デッレ モナケ ホステル ヴォルテッラ(Chiostro Delle Monache Hostel Volterra)

The hotel is very serene & quiet. The staff is friendly & always helpful The rooms are basic, clean, large & comfortable. Our bathroom was huge, and had a great overhead heater. I loved the outside areas, beautiful courtyards. Unfortunately the evenings were a bit cool to enjoy them fully. There is about a 20 minute walk to the center of Volterra. It's flat until you get to the city walls! We enjoyed diner both nights at the restaurant. The food was delicious & reasonably priced. I hope to return to Volterra & would love to stay at this hotel again.

Despite some deficiencies, I’d still give Chiostro a top rating. (Booking it you know it’s not a 5 star resort) Our room was spacious,clean & comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Parking free, safe & right outside It was an easy walk to the beautiful city of Volterra. The dining room is excellent. We ate both dinners there. The breakfast provided was also excellent. All the staff was wonderful & so helpful. The internet in our room was spotty. The staff know & that is being addressed. We learned that the internet is a problem throughout Volterra. We were very pleased & would love gladly return to Chiostro delle Monache & Volterra.

The staff was helpful with an excellent spoken English. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable with additional pillows if needed, and a small fridge. The room has air conditioning with a very spacious bathroom. The atmosphere of the convent was very special with large hallways, a sense of peace and calmness. We went to the restaurant that night and it was very nice. They have an inside or outside area, and we decided to stay outside where the tables were not closely connected to the other tables and there were arches with a little garden in the middle. We had their “vino della casa,” which was very good, and the food was excellent too. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Volterra. We had the breakfast included and the buffet was wonderful with different cakes, croissants, cookies, breads, ham or cheese, etc. We would definitely recommend this stay as this was one of the best hotels we stayed while we were travelling in Italy.

The staff in all departments were great, helpful, very friendly and approachable. The reception team bent over backwards to help us when our flight home to the UK was cancelled. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and attended to every day. The buffet breakfast was all you could eat with a huge choice of food. The restaurant was good value for money and had a good selection of meals. The location of the hotel was very interesting with a 20 minute walk to the centre of Volterra.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was exceptionally clean. Great location for exploring Volterra.

Belli gli ambienti originari del convento ma poco curate le camere forse avrebbero bisogno di un rimodernamento soprattutto i bagni. Peccato per gli affreschi originali che sono deteriorati ma la struttura mantiene il fascino del passato. Ottima l'accoglienza discreta la ristorazione.

Che dire....se si può evitare ...non lo consiglio..i prodotti sono di ottima qualità ma lavorati malissimo o nn lavorati affatto...mi dispiace per il titolare perché il posto è veramente bello ma secondo me si mantiene col turismo..chi passa una volta nn ci ritorna....
