Turyaa Kalutara

We are currently in last last week of our 4 week stay at the hotel. I just wish to say the Restaurant and kitchen staff are second to none. They have looked after us so well during our stay. From Head Chef Shane to his staff Imash, Mahesh, Anita and Ranga. First Class. The All Inclusive is buffet food which is delicious. However Mahesh has been cooking special food for us. All absolutely delicious. We are so grateful to him. His cooking is fabulous. Thank you for looking after us and making our stay so special Ann and Paul Carter xxxx

Everything is fine. The view from the rooms is gorgeous, the beach is cleaned every day, the staff is friendly and smiling. The food is both spicy national and regular, they often served delicious seafood. It was a good vacation!!!!!!!!!!!

This is our first visit to Sri Lanka and we are already talking about returning. The hotel Turyaa is amazing with staff so helpful and friendly. We met chef Mahesh yesterday who cooked Fiona and I an amazing lunch of garlic prawns and then in the evening a tandoori salad it was so special having these individual meals cooked especially just for us. I will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends when we return home and ask them to seek out Mahesh as they will not be disappointed. Sri Lanka has so much to offer so although the hotel is first class you must venture out and explore the wonderful sights so much to see and do.

Visited in January, staff are very helpful and eager to make your holiday very special. Hotel and restaurant managers very attentive and keen for us to have a memorable holiday. Food is good and cater for special requests if asked. Had some amazing curries and seafood from chef Hisham aswell as cheese plates on request. Breakfast is a great change from curry but still available if you choose. Amazing omelettes and hoppers. We were lucky enough to celebrate Tai Pongal whilst there seeing staff in traditional dress. The pool boys Aruna and Laliph really looked after us and ensured our sunbeds were ready for us each morning. Always greeting us with a friendly face. Special thanks to all the bar staff who had our drinks ready each evening, remembering our individual preferences and keeping us topped up. Only disappointment was lack of wine at dinner, understandably not hotels fault just didn’t research properly to realise all wine is imported and very expensive. A very clean, comfortable hotel with lovely friendly staff eager to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The biggest thanks as to go to Tissa (mercury rep) for his time, understanding and people skills. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, responded to our requests and recommended places to see. Even after a grumpy first meeting after a long journey and terrible flight. Tissa even looked after us and made sure we were looked after outside the hotel with key contacts in places we visited. Absolute 5 star plus service from him.

We visited Turyaa for a day outing package to celebrate our mother's birthday and I must say it's so worth the price as the Food and Service is sooo good. Manager Thilina was very attentive and Steward Dassanayaka was very helpful and friendly. The staff at the reception were really pleasant and always with a smile. We felt like a home away from home. We will definitely visit Turyaa again.

We booked our stay at the hotel because we wanted to spend the last weekend of 2023 near the sea. We are happy We selected this hotel to stay at because everyone treated us with such great service. From management to general staff, everyone was sooo friendly and helpful. We will be back for another stay. Highly recommend staying here coz the food, service and room was sooo clean and neat.

Fantastic hotel with excellent guest experience. Facilities are very good with great friendly staff. The choice of food is varied with good choices. The hotel has a compact gym but needs barbells and a rowing machine. The staff are super friendly with warm hearts and go out of the way to make your stay memorable. Staying at Turyaa is a heaven on earth experience with top class hospitality and facilities. My every visit to SL will have Turyaa on the list of hotels to visit and enjoy.

Overall, my experience at Turyaa Kalutara hotel was positive. The staff was friendly, and the food was satisfactory. Rasanka at resturant gave us a good service.However, I found it embarrassing that they only put wristbands on locals. This policy could make locals feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.

Turyaa Waskaduwa is an excellent resort style hotel. The staff were very friendly. The food was amazing with plenty of choices. The hotel had organised plenty of entertainment for the guests every evening. The rooms were clean and spacious, all with sea view. The hotel had 2 swimming pools and a gym. Will definitely recommend this hotel
