Lovely spacious room which included a three seater lounge. Everything was very clean. Bed was spacious and very comfortable. As we came from Qld into a cold Wagga Wagga we loved the electric blanket, and the heating was ample. The staff at reception and room staff were exceptional. They were extremely helpful and when asked nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
Upon entering the room, we were overwhelmed by the horrible smell, come to realise it was cigarette smoke. Outside most rooms are cigarette bins and bench chairs where people sit and smoke. Absolutely disgusting. If youre not a smoker, dont stay here it is putrid. People sitting outside and smoking throughout the night and in the morning, made me feel so unwell, had to ask people to move from outside our room as there was a gap u der the door and smoke was easily coming in. The room smelt of cigarettes, was unble to sleep during the night, we left as soon as we could! Even the smokers sitting outside said there should just be a designated smoking area. Carpets were very dirty, bathroom was good however and people in office seemed friendly.
Great service from Murray and the team, very welcoming. Nice and convenient location, 3 minutes' drive into the CBD. I stay on a regular basis, so I really appreciate the 'free gym' pass option available. The small restaurant provides, nice, homely quality food and a good option after a busy day at work, very convenient. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and well maintained in my experience. Very quiet despite being on a busy roundabout area, I was very surprised. Nice location for walking along the river pathway and also into town. Has been my preferred weekly stay when in Wagga Wagga.
We stayed at Mercure Wagga2 as a transit hotel for our Melbourne —> Sydney trip.
The location is good, the standard is acceptable for the area, the bed is exceeding my expectations as they’re very comfortable.
Perfect for our rest before continuing our trip to Sydney.
In overall it was good value for money.
Good location and pretty tidy apartment. Internet service is fast and the apartment is equipped with smart tv. However the kitchen lacked cutlery. Funny enough they only provide one glass of coffee mug!
We didn't stay at the hotel but ate at the Restuarant. I could not believe the food that was served. It was as good if not better than I have eaten in hatted restaurants in Sydney. A great regional find. We had the 5 courses with matching premium wines and the food and wine were perfect. The wait staff were so friendly and helpful. We spent some time discussing glass wear and when we were leaving, they gifted my husband one of the prettiest glasses they have. Next time I go to Wagga not only will I be eating at this restaurant but I will be trying out their accommodation as well.
I’ve stayed at this Motor Inn a few times and I highly recommend it. It’s off the Highway but the noise is very low as it sits below the road surface. The Welcome is sincere and the Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is away from the CBD but it’s only a 4 minute drive. There are plenty of eating options and the area lends itself to country hospitality. Highly recommended.
Very clean and tidy. Staff where very approachable and accommodating. It was easter weekend - so everywhere was busy. The Motel was booked out but we were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was! Location was quiet - not on a busy highway - so no traffic noise. Older rooms but everything was clean and tidy and plenty of hot water for shower - as was a cold weekend. Will stay again!
Mmarlzc1977The cleanest place my partner and I have ever stayed . Surprised at the big size of the room. Plenty of cupboard space in the room . Basically a full size kitchen without a stove but the microwave, fridge and kettle were sufficient . Amazing water pressure in the shower . Beautiful, well maintained gardens , parking at your door. We didn’t get a chance to try out the pool but it looked so inviting after a full day of driving . We definitely will come back if we return to Wagga.
WWarrens_of_ConderThis motel is located in the older part of Wagga, so very handy for restaurants and shopping and with the river right next to the hotel, river walks. The motel is an older style property, modernised rooms, but with high ceilings and a very traditional feel. I found the room to be quite dark, but comfortable enough and very clean. Bed was firm and shower was excellent. There is some undercover parking on a first come first served basis. My only negative comments would be that milk is decanted into a mini milk bottle and given to you unsealed when checking in (never had this before) . The room servicing (if staying more than one night) I found to be quite poor, bed not made, bin not emptied and cup not washed (towels were replaced and the bathroom cleaned however) Otherwise stay was ok.
