ザ グローブ(The Globe)

Breakfast due to start at 7:30 so I arrived on the dot. Juices and milk were only just being put out and there seemed to be no cooking going on. There were about 6 people already seated. When approached after 6 minutes,as I was in a rush that day I asked if the server could give me an idea of how long it would take to cook a full breakfast - she could not give me any answer. I opted to just have a bowl of cereal. If breakfast starts at at 7:30 it should be served or servable at that time. Not impressed.

Mould growing on the ceiling and on lampshades. TV not working. Shower only suitable for someone under 5'6" tall

Nice pub hotel right near town center no parking but public parking nearby.

All was good. The room was large and a bit different to the norm. Food was very acceptable snd reasonably priced. Would stay again.

We were only there for one night but I could stayed a week. I’ve stayed in many my boutique hotels before and this is by far the best

The rooms above this pub are nicely appointed to a good standard, if a bit quirky in parts. Reception was good. The food at breakfast was good but service best described as ‘tired’ with waiting staff not looking as if they wanted to be there, which was a shame.

lovely old building in the centre, good food and comfortable, a great place to stay; please remove the nasty cheap air “fresheners” in the bathroom and add something to hang towels on.

From the moment we got there to the dining the bar staff the room, the breakfast, we cannot fault a single thing. We loved the Globe and all the staff. Everyone was friendly. Even in the morning the Staff were wonderful. On returning to our room even the chamber maids were lovely. You get a great team vibe about this place with a a great culture and sense of pride. Definitely going back, thank you Team Globe, one of our favourite stays and we have stayed at a lot of wonderful places all over the world.
