Perfect location for the White House and other landmarks. Lovely staff on reception. Amazing apartment. The only downside was no housekeeping service during our four night stay.

I had read many of the reviews of the hotel before I arrived and I would concur with the general themes - the hotel is a bit tired, and aspects of the rooms could do with a bit of a spruce up but otherwise the place was great and I would definitely return. I was staggered by the size of the room we were allocated, it was fantastic, and the location of the hotel (just five minutes from the White House, and 15 minutes walk from all of the major landmarks such as the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial etc), guarantees value for your investment. While I booked a wee while before I stayed, I was pleasantly surprised (given its location) by the rates, which compared extremely favorably with similarly placed hotels in other cities I have traveled too. The staff were great, check in and out was a breeze, and living 'independently' was easy given there was a massive Wholefoods supermarket nearby as well as numerous coffee shops and eateries. That the hotel is just around the corner from Washington's excellent Metro was another bonus, making getting round the place, whether to other tourist sites such as Capital Hill, or out to the airport, a breeze. Whatever the purpose of your visit to Washington, I would seriously consider it.

The property itself is nice and clean. While this is designed for long-term apartment style stay, there are complimentary items that can be provided in the room like water, detergent to prevent consistent trips to the front desk. Further when booking online via third-party booking partners (**********, *******) please be sure to clarify any payment mandates ahead of time. For those who are traveling on business using a corporate card, please be sure to send credit card authorization ahead of time to avoid confusion and frustration.

We had an incredible stay. The penthouse was big enough for 5 people and had amazing balconies and terraces. Absolutely stunning and the staff was supportive and accommodating. Parking was right next door, very convenient. A lot of great restaurants within walking distance. 10/10 in our opinion! Will be back, for sure.

The front staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, quiet, comfortable, and well-located. But the bathrooms (we had a full bath and a powder room) were old and in not very clean or convenient condition. We were NOT entitled to room cleaning or fresh towels because our stay was less than 7 nights. How odd is that!?!

AKA was perfect for our family. Extremely spacious and I loved having a kitchen and two bathrooms. Will definitely be back. Front desk is extremely helpful and kind.

Staff was outstanding. Clean comfortable well equipped apartment. Having a vending machine on site would have been nice.

I loved the amount of space the room was for my husband and three daughters. Very comfortable and very quiet. Great location! Around the corner from all of the monuments and White House!! Only downfall was no daily room service for fixing our beds and tidying up our room.
