ラビリンス ホステル ワイマール(Labyrinth Hostel Weimar)

Quite cozy, quiet rooms, friendly staff and tasty breakfast. TripAdvisor says my comment has to have at least two hundred characters so I continue writing. But actually my first sentence describes it well enough so why writing a lengthy novel.

Exceptionally good hostel with basically every travelers need is thought of. It has general hostel vibe with common terrace, dining room and kitchen, but it also has different options for private rooms, and even if it is a room with a shared bathroom - it is shared just for two rooms, so never crowded. Also you can make a hot tea for free whenever you like. Beds are comfortable and rooms are equipped with shelves, chairs, tables, bed-lights, sockets. Stuff is friendly. Generally it was surprisingly quiet. I like my stay very much.

I absolutely loved this hostel! Arrived very late after the check-in time, cause my train was cancelled, called the number at the reception and the receptionist was very caring and helpful to come from home to check me in. The hostel is in the center of the city and close to the main train station. It is super clean and comfy. I stayed in the 6 bed female dorm, which is large enough to have a relaxed and comfortable stay. I also liked the room as I didn’t have to climb to the bunk bed after 12 hours on the roads. So amazing staff, amazing location and comfortable rooms! Want to come back to Weimar just to stay in this hostel more :D

Lives up to the standard of Weimar community itself - charming, cozy and super-welcoming. Not to mention cleanliness, which was such that I could relax completely. Ladies working at the check in were all amazingly kind and willing to help with all of my questions. The location of the hostel is perfect - 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Also, unlike some other places at which my friends stayed, Labyrinth is super honest and open with the prices. Absolutely no hidden costs will appear on your account. (Keep an open eye if you opt for some of the other hostels, which I will not name just say they advertise themselves as "cheapest in Weimar"). Best of luck to Labyrinth team in future! Ivana

Andreas is a super host and will help you with anything from restaurant tips to sightseeing advice. The rooms are super pretty and cozy and clean. Located extremely centrally. There is a bunch of books, games and excellent movies available :-)

Wir bewohnten ein einfaches schönes Doppelzimmer, völlig ruhig, mit allem Notwendigen. Die Lage ist optimal, etwas zurückgesetzt von einem großen Platz, mit gemütlicher Küche und Dachterrasse. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder auswählen. Die Mitarbeiter waren ebenfalls sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Chouette accueil, jolies chambres chaleureuses, originales et décorée avec goût. La pièce commune est agréable. Très bon emplacement. Personnel très accueillant et de bons conseils. Les salles de bains communes sont très propres. Salles de douche un peu étroites et parquet un peu cheap dans les couloirs/chambres mais le reste est super.

Seit Jahren übernachte ich im Labyrinth. Dort ist eine vertrauensvolle Atmosphäre und die Leutchen vom Haus sind wirklich immer offen und kommunikativ. Es ist toll sauber in den Zimmern und den Bädern. Prima Frühstücksangebot - Platz im Kühlschrank mit Extrafach - gemütlicher Frühstücksraum - dezente Musik. Ich wünsche mir dort flachere Kopfkissen, also ein Zwischending zwischen den dicken und gar keinem Kissen. Ich komme immer gern wieder und empfehle es sehr.
