a genuine family hotel with old fashioned values. The staff are charming and we had a great room with a beautiful view ( i think they all have that) and a bath. it didnt feel small and cramped like many ski ing hotels . not sure abut the dinners , we ate out every nice but the breakfasts were excellent .

We stayed only for four nights and wished it could have been longer. Ursula and her team are amazing . The chefs are outstanding and Ursula took the time to speak with guests in the dining room making us feel so welcome The location in wengen wes quiet and the interior of the hotel so beautiful. Thank you .

This is a gem of a hotel. It's a charming hotel, decorated in the traditional Swiss style but up to date with all the modern comforts expected these days. This is a family run hotel going back several generations. Ursula and her team were very professional, friendly and helpful. They clearly care about making their guests comfortable and happy. We booked directly with the hotel with one their package deals. We felt this was good value for money. We had a lovely room with a balcony looking down the valley, we got a 6 day ski pass and excellent breakfast and evening meals.

Really lovely stay. Was oozing with the alpine charm we wanted. Family of five and all three rooms were excellent. Pick of the bunch was ours at the front with insanely picturesque views of the peaks. We were half board and food was great. Five nights and nothing repeated apart from the cheese course and no complaints there! Wine was expensive, there’s none included with dinner. Service was top notch. It’s a really well oiled operation but done with class and smiles. We’re a young (ish) family and the hill climb into the village was okay but I can see how it might be an issue for some. Saying that, there’s a free shuttle bus in and out of town . If I had to stretch for a minor criticism, it’s a bit weird not to be allowed a hot drink in your room considering the price and quality of the hotel. Would love to return.

Incredible stay. Beautiful views. Beautiful room. The half board inclusive of dinner is amazing value and food was amazing. Overall an incredible experience and I look forward to returning. It has real charm. Wengen is a great place to stay. Much quieter than the other places in the Interlaken region. I loved it.

We loved our stay in Wengen! This property has incredible views and cute lodge decor. Highly recommend booking a room with a balcony and mountain view. The property is conveniently located and is a good landing spot to get around the mountains. They also have a shuttle for transportation to the station (helpful with heavy luggage). Our room didn’t have AC, but many places in Europe don’t. Staff was very friendly and we would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Alpenrose. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property and the balcony views are outstanding. I’d definitely stay there again.

WOW! Home from home in the beautiful Swiss Alps. What can I say, this was the most perfect stay. What a fantastic warm and welcoming family run hotel. I was actually glad it rained for 2 of my 4 days in Wengen. I was able to fully relax and enjoy this wonderful hotel to it's fullest. The food was wonderful, especially the fine 4/5 course evening meals which were extremely good value. All the staff are a credit to the hotel, always smiling, friendly and professional. Thanks for allowing me to stay in Hotel Alpenrose. I hope to return very soon!
