Zimmer waren sehr gut und sauber. Die Außenanlage ist vernachlässigt

Wir hatten ein Komfortzimmer gebucht das Zimmer war über ein Lagerraum im Flur Schalter defekt im Badezimmer Fenster mit sichtschutzfolie beklebt die sich gelöst hat Fliegengitter eingerissen.

We stayed one night in this hotel as part of "Social Deal". It's a nice hotel just outside Wesel. Our room was good but a bit outdated and quite warm at night. But the beds were good, the room was quiet and we slept well. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice.

This a slightly dated property in a rural setting. Room was comfortable but somewhat gloomy. Breakfast lacked imagination and hot choice very limited. Dinner was excellent. There were a lot of mosquitoes in and around the hotel.

The hotel pictures display a stunning old German building with grand gardens - this is true, but it’s not where your room is. Your room is located to the rear of the hotel in a travel inn style building The rooms are clean, comfortable but not well equipped (poor washing supplements, no fridge in room, no kettle etc) - not really 4* and that’s rated against German Standards The main reason for such a poor rate is the staff service. For such a well graded hotel I would expect service. Instead we were met with rudeness and impolite service with the staff taking more time to smoke than to provide any service - including offering anything before the kitchen closed which resulted in no dessert options for a family event Breakfast was of a good standard - although the roof was leaking badly - despite 30 degree weather (confusing) Wouldn’t stay here - there are better in Wesel for a similar price and better location

Hotel Haus Duden is our ‘go to’ destination when we visit the area. The hotel management and staff are accommodating and always helpful in adapting to our special needs. The food is excellent – always providing a genuine German dining experience. The setting at the facility is serene and a great place to relax with a book or a beer - or both. Give it a try and experience something special.

Outstanding service and historical setting...breakfast and dinner were very very good. Atmosphere is quiet. Professional Staff. Priced reasonably, we will be back...Highly recommend to travelers to consider Haus Duden.
