ブルー ロアタン リゾート(Blue Roatan Resort)

I stay at Ibagari, next door to Blue Roatán’s Beach Club. They just opened their new Beach Club when we arrived. The music was so loud beginning around 3:00 pm….. and going to midnight that Ibagari’s walls were shaking….. this is a total buzz kill for this spectacular island vibe….. yes, BR rooms are located up the hill, but I cannot imagine that anyone wants to listen to ear bursting music like this…. I love music, but this was so overwhelmingly loud, we might as well be staying at West Shore with the cruise boat crowd…… incredibly disappointing…… we’ve been to Roatan 8 times….. but we will not come back if Blue Roatan doesn’t get a clue!!!

Gem of a resort. It is nestled on a hill between other fancy $$$ resorts. The location on the shoreline is between the bustling beaches of West End and West Bay, so beach time is quiet but there is easy water taxi access to more lively (and cheaper) dining/entertainment options. You also can walk along the water to West Bay if you don’t mind a tall shaky bridge. I did not know about the beach club when I booked so was even more excited. The walk down to the beach provides some exercise each day if you need it. If not, the tuck-tuck drivers are ready to take you at a moments notice. Staff very friendly. Agree with the comments about the lack of hot water on occasion. They have a generator (though took a bit to kick in) for when the power goes out on the island, which happens not infrequently. Agree with comments to bring cash in small demonizations -which applies no matter where you stay.

The hospitality at this hotel is completely incredible and unmatched. The red carpet treatment you receive here is beyond I’ve ever received anywhere else. I travel a lot too. The food was amazing, the service was on point. Servers Justin, Christopher, and Carlos never let my drink go empty. Thanks, the views of the water and secluded forrest like atmosphere is soothing and relaxing. I will definitely return. Location is amazing too so close to West Bay Beach and West End Beach. Transportation to the hotel is a huge benefit. Although the bed mattress was a bit hard and hot water was inconsistent I would stay here again without a doubt. I love Blue Roatan Resort!

Thie hotel is absolutely amazing. The room a extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The views of the carribean are stunning. The pool and hot tub are just amazing. The restaurant and staff are impeccable. Truly a 5 Star resort. Already planned a trip back

The team at Blue Roatan was amazing, the hospitality and Staff was always 100% aware of all of our plans, service was extraordinary. Hats off the whole team. For sure will try to stay at Blue Roatan next time I visit the island. Keep it up

This is really a peaceful, friendly and visually beautiful boutique hotel. Just what we needed after 2 weeks at a very busy West Bay resort when we were delayed from leaving by an airport closure. Spending 5 hours at the airport , we basically had no place to go and no idea when we could leave. We remembered that a couple we met the day before mentioned that we should have tried Azul, the resturaunt at this hotel. We thought here's our chance. Lucky for us they had a room and offered to pick us up. They room was beautiful. Artwork was fabulous, stocked frig, bright and comfortable. High in the treetops with views everywhere. Different areas to relax with comfortable seating around pool, hottub and rooftop with very impressive landscaping and garden art. We went from anxious to immediate zen. Spent two relaxing days before we had to go home.

Outstanding cuisine: a fusion mix between national and international food. A hidden gem inside Roatan where you can have an extraordinary experience in flavorful food, beautiful environment, friendly staff and glamorous resort. This is a perfect place for couples or families. My two kids 11-9 yrs both enjoyed the food. The Chef is a well recognized expert and extraordinary person. He asked us what we preferred for dinner and everything was out of this world.

Blue, was great in all aspects, staff was more than magnificent, food was absolutely spectacular; If you are seeking for a great experience in Roatan do not hesitate on this place, definitely a must and looking forward to visit again.

uietThe view from our ocean view room was amazing! We took advantage of the free breakfast included with our package every morning it was so good. Our waiter Carlos was attentive and kind, and he remembered our drink orders each morning. Overall the staff was amazing, shout out to JJ our dinner waiter and Denis the bartender. They set a private dinner up for us by the Hottub one night which was amazing. We ate here more nights than we were planning to as the food was so good. This crew was so willing to say yes to our requests, very personalized service. Denis makes a home made Baileys that is not to be missed, it features cinnamon from the local tree. You will need to take a short tuk tuk ride to the beach or walk about 20 minutes down a hill to get there. The wait for the ride is short so we did that most days. The beach is quiet and gorgeous. There are several really good restaurants down by the beach. If you don't want the noise of the West Bay you will like it here. We were also able to walk to Gumbalimba Park from the beach. Super close. We saw the macaws flying most mornings to get to the park. My only suggestion would be to improve water pressure in the shower and turn up the heat in the hot tub. They are getting set to open a beach bar and restaurant too, it will be convenient when that is finished. This is a beautiful property with friendly and accommodating staff. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful week!
