A very welcoming arrival by friendly hosts was followed by being shown our very comfortable room. Plenty of storage, coffee tea and fresh milk. Good sized ensuite. Close enough to walk into the main part of Weymouth via the close by beach or beach front. Our hosts have good knowledge of surrounding points of interest and dining opportunities. Private parking to the rear also. Breakfast choice was extensive and cooked and presented perfectly.

Shame it did go down the hill since I've been here last. For the price you pay you'd expect everything spotless and great value . The owners Lynne and Andy look down on you, are very arrogant and rude. Made me feel and my friend very uncomfortable. You can tell running the business affected them as they think they're better than anyone else. Which I found very weird for someone to make comments about other businesses, as I run business myself and would never judge or make comments about others. Everyone in hospitality is struggling, everyone deserves respect. Very disappointed

Lynne and Andy Wonderful friendly hosts, excellent guest house,room had a lot of extra touches biscuits sweets etc breakfast and afternoon tea was perfect, would certainly recommend and would go back again.Thank you Graham and Claire Potter

This is not the first time we have stayed here, and still the standards are perfect. Very comfortable beds, rooms lovely and warm, decoration excellent, and the breakfast allows you to book only what you would like, but with plenty of choice. Looking forward to our next stay in May

Lovely guest house and wonderful hosts! This place is a little gem, really central, with a short walk to the town. The room we had, the Romsey suite, was lovely for me, my wife and son. It was so nice having a separate room for him! The breakfasts were really well cooked, and you can choose exactly what you want. Nothing is too much, the hosts are lovely people and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Hosts were awesome and accommodation was fabulous. Lynne left us a breakfast as we had to leave early, nothing was too much trouble Location was perfect and parking was not an issue. Room was cosy and clean and made our stay wonderful. Would highly recommend

Lovely cream tea with my family at St John’s today. Although we aren’t staying on this visit we would love to return and stay over when the occasion arises. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Tea was hot and all the food was homemade. Delicious!

Andy and Lyn are amazing hosts.The rooms are spotless and very comfortable.Location is great.Breaksfast is first class.A bonus was having Easter eggs on the breakfast table on Sunday,what a lovely gesture!!l We will be back ! Brian and Lorraine

Well, what a perfectly lovely seaside guest house. Welcomed as soon as we arrived, room was ready early and was certainly good enough for our needs. The fact that they have parking available makes a massive difference. We chose a king size room and the bed was very, very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked to order with the added bonus you could ask for extras. It was a very lovely touch that they gave all guests Easter eggs on Easter Sunday. The home made complimentary chocolate rice crispie cakes were delicious too. All in all, I can’t find any fault with St John’s and I will happily recommend it to all my friends. We will definitely go again ourselves
