ビーチバムウェスト-Oモーテル(Beach Bum West-O Motel)

Wonderful motel with a top notch staff. The pond out back was so beautiful, and our stay was so great . We loved it so much we stayed there again on our way back from Vermont to Myrtle Beach. They were able to help us out by booking directly with them. We were late getting in, but they took care of us by making sure everything was ready when we arrived. This was a solid 5 Stars!!!

I liked the proximity to the bus shuttle for the festival we were in Ocean City for - walking distance. Room was clean, but the flowery scent of the room was almost overpowering. Valuable things were left out on the table and the housekeeper didn’t disrupt anything. We appreciated it. Overall a good stay!

Quaint place too stay. Very clean and just what we needed for overnight stay, a comfortable bed and sparkling clean bathroom. We are looking forword to hopefully an extended stay in the future.

Room was very clean and perfect for a solo weekend. Grounds were better than expected with chairs by the creek, lots of activities if with family. Front desk was extremely friendly. Even called me before my arrival to make sure I was coming. Cabins look great and will try those next time.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We received a free upgrade to a cabin because of BikeFest, which was nice. We enjoyed having our own cozy space with comfortable living areas and especially the screened in porch which we utilized everyday. The only drawback was the bathroom situation. We are older and the cramped bathroom was difficult. The bathroom was clean, but very small. We were only there 2 nights, so we could live with it for a short time, but a longer stay would have been frustrating because not only was it small, water pressure was lacking as well. The shower head barely put out enough water to rinse, so I wouldn't have been able to wash my hair. Overall, the grounds are kept nicely and it looks like a wonderful place for young adults and children with volleyball, swimming, etc.

The place was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the floor above us squeak so much; we could hear people footsteps when they were moving around. The complimentary breakfast is not a breakfast at all. It was snacks and they did not have options for people that don't drink cow milk.

The Beach Bum Weat-O was a decent place to stay for a night or two. The room was fine, reasonably clean and modern. The only complaint is we could hear the people in the neighboring room. The pool was decent. The continents breakfast was not great but I didn’t expect much more. We needed to add a couple days to our vacation and it was totally fine for that. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay here much longer. The cabins looked cute but we’re in the motel part.

On a 2 week vacation up the East Coast this was our first stop. Aug 18, 2023. The Good: We stayed in a queen room in the main hotel. We were on the very end on the bottom floor. The room was clean, updated and very basic but functional. There was a larger shower stall with wall mounted product dispensers. There was a wall mounted hair dryer, towels & extra tp. There was also a mini-fridge & microwave and I can't fully recall if there was a coffee maker in the room. The AC in the room kept it quite comfortable and we slept relatively well. The bed wasn't home but I wasn't hurting and stiff in the morning so it must have been fine. We spent a while on the dock after arriving (8ish hr drive) then went to the boardwalk area. We walked around for a bit then grabbed a bite and went back to the hotel. THE JUST OK: The air conditioner was loud. It worked well and didn't give off any weird smells but every time it kicked on - it was enough to wake you up. This would have been an issue if we hadn't been so tired from a day of driving. The only other issue was that the "smoking area" is considered to be at the end of the buildings. Our room was the last room on the end of the building. So in the morning when we came out there were several smokers nearby. A better designated smoking area would be nice. OVERALL: Very satisfied and would stay again. Would def recommend a bigger room for more than 1 night though.

It would have been nice if you had picnic tables out by the rooms and better water pressure. But overall I would come there again. Ps have more shirts in the larger size’s later in the year , because what does not sell this year , they will sell next year.
