From a friendly welcome on arrival to the the pleasure of hunkering down in the bar, in front of a roaring fire, with your fish supper from the local chippy and a pint of Timothy Taylors. Then up to a room with a view over the harbour. All within a short stroll of everything. All this at a budget price. Will be back. This

Had a lovely stay at the Endeavour. The staff were so helpful, helped us in with our luggage, ordered a takeaway for us and were very friendly. Particular mention goes to Michelle the cleaner. She really looked after us. View is superb! Downside separate bathroom for room 4, leaky taps and door straight from pub onto stairs.

Amazing stay as always. This was our third time at the Endeavour. We love the friendliest company in the bar of an evening, we can bring in fish and chips and be provided with forks etc. the dogs Are welcome and there is a doggy menu and treats available free at the bar. Lovely to sit in front of a real fire this weekend while it was cold. Room 3 was good, new bathroom nicely decorated, however the bed is a little big for the room as it’s a bulky frame but no issue. Would just make more room if it wasn’t a sleigh bed. We have also stayed in room 1 where there’s a lovely view. There is always a bottle of water, yea bags, milk, wagon wheels and club biscuits for people staying in the rooms. Shower gel and soap! Make sure you try a boozy coffee or hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow!! It’s easy walking distance to the town and at the bottom so no hill climbing. Thank you again x

Great location and room was great, only slight inconveniences were having a seperate bathroom and the shower wasnt great. Other than that the staff are very helpful and the pub itself had great music over 2 x nights. Will definitely recommend 👌

Check in was quick and we were told about how to contact in emergency property was not 24 hours. Very clean room including soft towels and all food extras, very good

Nice friendly staff. Great location. Old pub but clean and comfortable room. Had huge seperate bathroom on 1st floor. Not en-suite but fine as no one else on floor. Lovely little touches like chocolate bars and crisps and bottled water. Yorkshire tea too. Felt very welcoming.

It was in a very convenient location and we loved the view from our room. However, the stairs going up to our room were steep and narrow and it was hard to bring all of our luggage up so we left it in the car. The parking was across the road and it was hard to get a park. We only stayed for one night so it was ok.

Nice comfortable room. Pet friendly. Nice staff. Lovely log fire. Great beers

Lovely location very central to whitby town centre and the staff were very friendly. Shame there wasn’t any breakfast but I would stay there again
