The hotel was clean and checking in was easy and quick. Breakfast had a lot of options including a yogurt bar with granola and fresh fruit. The room was in a quite area and the sheets smelled so fresh! I enjoyed my stay. I will be back so the family can enjoy the outdoor pool in the summertime.
The staff at this hotel was very helpful and friendly. However, the first room they put me in every light in the room was on and the AC didn’t work. The bathroom sink would not drain. They moved me to another room and again the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. When I tried to get back in my room to leave the door lock would not work. I had to stand in the hall while they changed batteries. This is supposed to be done on a regular basis. There’s a little lake next to the hotel that’s nice. In the bathroom, the grout was coming up out of the floor in places and I stepped on a piece of grout in the middle of night. Hurt! Should have been re-grouted along time ago. Hotel shows its age, but let me say again the staff was great!
I do not know where to begin on this outstanding hotel. Very nice, inviting, clean, and welcoming. Love the decor in the lobby with all the seating to enjoy the ambiance!! The room was sparkling clean. Fluffy towels, shiny fixtures in the bathroom. The beds were comfy, as were the pillows. Well done, Delta Hotel, Wichita Falls, Tx. Thank you for making our anniversary stay memorable. We will return soon. The restaurant - Wellborn R2 is wonderful. Our steak dinner abd the breakfast were well presented & both were delicious! Loved the microgreens on our breakfast food.
I was passing through for work and stopped by for the evening. I wanted to love this place but sadly had several issues. First the customer service. We had an issue with the room and booking and were met with such attitude, rudeness, and disrespect- I’ll be contacting Marriott corporate. I’ve never felt so “attacked” over a minute service issue on their end, that was supposedly resolved hours ago. I called and had a message in the booking margin about said discrepancy. Second, it’s very noisy / close to the freeway beware ( lots of traffic noise even with the air on). Lastly, while the rooms are nice, modern and clean (for the most part), the “clean” smell was overpowering to the point of triggering my allergies. Wouldn’t stay again and would not recommend it. Response to Sue McGill. Yes please send the video to corporate to ensure proper management training and rehiring of a qualified GM. Sadly, Marriot didn’t complete a criminal bg check as we found. Be wary. If there’s a minor issue she’ll claim “you were yelling in the lobby “ and “you are being filmed.” Check the 1-star reviews and pray that you don't have to deal with her. You will deal with a rude woman with an arrest record :) who lies about guests to keep herself in good graces. I guess next time (you want to roll your eyes, yell at, or embarrass a customer, by throwing a CC (a different one-star review or tell someone ”I've tried 7 cards let's hope this one works” when you only swiped 2 (a lie), or tell someone ”you're from another country I guess you've never seen water bugs”)(another one-star review)....Just remember you are one Google search / Fb message search away from being called out. Slander by the way means a lie, public records are facts. As your “bullying” continues. My bf said just let it go but I do not tolerate rudeness or disrespect in the hospitality field where I am a paying customer. Sad, it's such a lovely property. Just poorly managed from the top...down.
Very clean and well managed hotel. The breakfast was very well managed, had a great variety and they opened 90 minutes earlier than normal to accommodate us who rode in the bike rally that day. That alone was worth the stay! Very clean comfortable room and bed.
I stayed at the Home2 Suits by Hilton in Wichita Falls Texas while on business. The check in process went well. The property looks well kept, clean, and in good order. For pros, I found the suite to be clean with excellent AC, plenty of hot water and no outside light at night. Quite too. For cons, I found the tv operations to be extremely challenging. The tv remote was difficult to use. No numbers to select a channel. Had to use the guide button whenever I wanted to change channels. This was a big pain as I like to check the difference programs while traveling to a different area. The live channels available were somewhat limited. The king bed had 3 pillows, all were soft. Not a firm pillow in the lot. I personally prefer at least one firm pillow. If you go out for dinner, you might expect to have difficulty finding a parking space when you return as parking in front of the property is limited. The next time I’m in Wichita Falls, I’ll probably consider another property based on the difficulty with the TV remote and limited channel selection and soft pillows. Is it?
I was pleasantly surprised as this was the first time that I visited this brand by Hilton. The lobby was wide and spacious, housing a large breakfast room, lounge area with pool table, and nice snack store. The room was compact, which was OK for me since I was traveling solo and only had a carry on and backpack (for those traveling with a spouse or family or just want extra space, this property also houses a Home2 Suites). However, the room was nicely and efficiently decorated, including a mini refrigerator (no microwave) and plenty of outlets for chargers and USB ports. The bathroom, on the other hand, was more spacious. My only complain is that all soap and shampoo containers are fixed to the wall and of the squeeze operation, which to me does not feel very hygienic. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the individual bar of soap and small shampoo bottles. The breakfast was excellent and had hot and cold options to satisfy most tastes. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Stayed in a spa room and it was awesome. Room was clean and good size where you don't feel cramped. Inn is close to many things as it is just off the highway. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Parking is well lit and ample. No elevator so if stairs are a problem take note. Toilet was very short.
We decided to drive a few hours from home and spend the night to make our next day’s drive shorter. Got to Wichita Falls and stopped at the HoJo since it was on our way out of town on 287. Big mistake! HUGE! We asked for a double room. Got our keys and went in. It was late so we were just going to go to bed. My husband went to go to the bathroom and there was hair on the toilet and urine all over the floor. Pulled back the covers and there was blood and hair all over the sheets. Absolutely disgusting! I was not letting my kids stay there. We loaded our things back in the car and went straight to the office. Told the man at the desk we wanted a refund because the room was filthy and we weren’t staying. He refused to refund us. He said we had been there “a while”. I said it had only been 15-20 minutes at most and he said no. You’ve been here a while. Our policy says we cannot refund you. First, that was a lie. It was 1037 when we pulled up and went into the office, had to wait for a woman in front of us to check in, got checked in ourselves, hauled four people’s luggage from the car to the room, loaded everything back up, and after he refused to refund us and we returned to the car, the clock said 1101. We obviously had not been in the room “for a while” and he knew it. He gave us a nasty room knowing we would not stay and he knew he would lie and refuse to return our money. If you’re a ********* and don’t care - stay in their nastiness! But if you’re a decent person, you don’t want to stay anywhere near this place! I only wish we hadn’t been in such a hurry to leave that we didn’t take pictures for me to show y’all how bad it was!!
