ヒルシェン ワイルトハウス(Hotel Hirschen Wildhaus)

It is nice. Staff tried to be helpful. No WiFi in 2 rooms, we switch 2 room bevor we get one with constant WiFi. One rooms TV was broken, nobody tell us that, we figured it out after we moved in. Restaurant are fine, pricy like everything in Switzerland. Stuff was not really nice, kinder neglecting us, probably because we were with small children. Not bad, but for this price schuld have been much better…

Hirschen Wildhaus is a great place to stay in Toggenburg. I’ve stayed here many times, and always have the greatest stay. It’s a great starting point for many hikes and a ton of activities to do in the area. Atmosphere is chill with a good vibe. The rooms are modern and clean. The views are outstanding and the food amazing. Service and owners of hotel are impeccable! Simply Thai restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious and authentic dishes, beautiful presentation, great cocktails and wonderful dessert. I recommend this hotel and and restaurant to everyone! The hotel room and facilities are good for stay. But we had a bad experience with one of the three restaurants. We had to wait for 1.5 hours to get the food served, even for kids. Given that the its in a touristy place, I am surprised they have this level of service. Recommend the stay but find restaurants around.

Stayed at Hotel Hirschen for a long weekend and we were so positively surprised! With a short drive from Zurich, we arrived in Wildhaus and we could not imagine there was so much snow in this region. We were very lucky that the hotel cleaned our car during these days if not we would have been snowed in! The rooms were clean and modern with tablets to order services such as complimentary special pillows or massages. The spa was new and very spacious and we enjoyed the big whirlpool a lot. After skiing, walking, and sledding in the mountains it was very nice to relax. The most positive experience was actually the friendliness of the staff and the restaurants. Hirschen has 3 restaurants, a gourmet, Thai, and chalet. We have had dinner at the fireplace in the Hirschen Stube Gourmet restaurant for typical mountain dishes that were really nice and abundant. But the best experience we had at the chalet Max for fondue. The atmosphere in this newly built chalet, with a nice fireplace and amazing food, is something we have not seen often in our many hotel visits. The hotel gave us vouchers as well for various discounts such as renting of equipment. Altogether we highly recommend this hotel.

Loved our stay. Weekend getaway with my mother to explore to lovely places around. Everything is super close from the hotel, even with public transport ! Super friendly staff. Beautiful room and amazing breakfast. We will be back.

Perfect location, very stylish rooms, from balcony can see wonderful alpine sceneries that turns even more magical during sunrise and sunset. Very friendly staff and very wide breakfast choice. I`m very happy about such a great weekend and wonderful stay at the hotel.

The best hotel I’ve stayed at in the Toggenburg region. I’ve stayed here a few times and every time it’s been super! This is definitely my choice of hotel when coming to this region. The rooms have recently been renovated. The design of the room is modern and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are always so clean. The balcony has a nice view of the Churfirsten mountain range also. The Hotel has an impressive wide selection of cheeses for breakfast, a good selection on the menu for lunch, and fondue at Chalet Max which was very tasty! The Bar is fun for an evening and the spa is a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. A fabulous location indeed. Will definitely be back soon.

Zimmer einfach aber soweit ok. Kein Zimmerservice, bzw. wurde das Zimmer am Folgetag nicht aufgeräumt. Leider etwas lärmig während der Nacht. Die Ursache war unklar. Keine Minibar vorhanden. Am ersten Abend haben wir auch im Restaurant des Hotels das Nachtessen eingenommen. Obwohl für 4 Personen reserviert, gab es am Tisch nur 3 Sitzgelegenheiten. Ein Stuhl fehlte. Leider war dann der Kellner nicht gerade vom Fach und die Grösse der Portionen nicht dem Preis angepasst.

Seit 1860 im Besitz der Gastgeberfamilie. Ein sehr ansprechendes Haus im Zentrum von Wildhaus gelegen. Post- und Skibushaltestelle in nächster Nähe. Viel Atmosphäre, Gemütlichkeit. Von den Besitzern persönlich, gastfreundlich geführt. Kein verstaubtes, nostalgisches Überbleibsel aus vergangenen Zeiten: Die Zimmer, komfortabel, wohnlich, sauber und falls zur Südseite, mit Balkon und fantastischem Blick auf die Churfirsten. Wellnessbereich mit Pool und Sauna sowie Massagen und Kosmetikanwendungen. Breites Restaurationsangebot für jeden Geschmack. Von der Dorfzbeiz, Hirschenstube, Thai-Restaurant und grosser, stimmiger Lounge mit Bar. Die Gerichte in der Hirschenstube, die sich als Gourmet&Beiz bezeichnet, konnte die Gourmeterwartungen nicht in allen Punkten erfüllen. Aber dennoch eine interessante, gute Küche. Das Frühstück, regional, vielseitig und qualitätsvoll, serviert im Panorama-Saal, auch mit nicht so sauberen Panoramafenstern, eine Augen- und Gaumenfreude. Die Mitarbeiter an der Réception sind sehr freundlich, persönlich und kompetent. Bei den Servicemitarbeitern zeigt sich, dass der heimische Fachkräftemangel auch im Toggenburg ein Thema ist. Mitarbeiter werden quer durch Europa rekrutiert. Das ist für ein Hotel, das seit je Gäste aus aller Herrenländer beherbergt, ja eigentlich kein Nachteil, sondern eine facettenreiche Bereicherung. Nur an die Servicequalitäten anderer Nationen muss sich der Schweizer Gast, wir, halt teilweise erst noch gewöhnen. Wir können den Hirschen in Wildhaus bestens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
