The property was beautiful, the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food choices diverse and delicious- we can’t wait to return to this beautiful island and Marriott property!!

They did not have both of my rooms ready until 6 PM at our arrival and check in is 4 PM. This is a horrible thing to do to guests. Especially guests with small children. The internet/wifi works well on most of the property. However, it does cut in some areas. This hotel could not guarantee a request made 2 weeks prior of rooms close together or adjoining. They should be able to put guests at ease with a request of this sort. This hotel does not offer an airport shuttle nor shuttles into town. One of my rooms was not cleaned on day one (Friday). Two of my rooms were not cleaned on day three (Sunday). One of our rooms was not cleaned again on our second Saturday 1/13/24. The rooms never felt clean. There was always sand on the floors as well as in the beds, even right after housekeeping cleaned them. Although I informed staff on 5 occasions that the batteries in my access lock were low they waited until we couldn’t get into one of our rooms on day two before changing them, leaving me locked out of my own room. Very poor bathroom design. An open concept closet is in the toilet which gets defecated in by all family members all day long…not where you want your clothes hanging. The beach is pretty but you need water shoes if you want to try to go in with less risk of injury. The pools are quite cold. They feel a little colder than the ocean. You eat better in town for less money. I would not go back to this hotel.

Breakfast & sushi is really great. Definitely try it. The bar in the evening is a dream. The room was large, modernly furnished and the bathroom was really clean. Unfortunately the staff is divided into two parts. Half of them are super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the other half doesn't feel like doing the job at all and lets the guests feel this too. A real shame! The transfer from the airport to the hotel did not work, even though it was registered and confirmed in writing. At the airport we had to wait over 30 minutes at night with our 1-year-old daughter for an available taxi. Unfortunately we also had to ask for a baby bed 3 times. After 1.5 days this was finally set up.

Not clear communication. I requested a late check out at no charge and was informed that I could check out at 2 PM. Then next day, I was told that the late check out request had not been granted. I had to rush to get out of the room.

This is not an all inclusive resort. The grounds are beautiful and picturesque. The restaurants are decent but over priced. The staff is nice but not as attentive as they could be. The reception area definitely needs more staff. The rooms are spacious but my shower and sink were clogged. The pool area does not have staff cleaning on a regular basis. There were empty bottles and cans everywhere. For the price I was expecting a lot more

Property is beautiful and the beach is fantastic. Onsite Services and staff are impeccable. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel. (Our stay was from Nov 3 to 7, 2023)

Be careful I booked an ocean view room and I got a pool view at best. Complained and they did nothing

This is supposed to be the Marriott. The service we received from Talish the manager was less than stellar. Our mattress was older than old with springs poking us while we slept, when we spoke with her she advised she would fix it. Fixing it meant a piece of foam added to the mattress which was too short. When we called to advise this was unacceptable they then swapped our mattress with one from another room. Everyday the linens were stained, our pillowcases were threadbare and had holes and soap was hard to come by. Housekeeping has major issues. Again when speaking to Talish she assured us we would be compensated for the lack lustre service, NO compensation or apology was ever received and she made it a point to avoid us. As this was our honeymoon we opted for the all inclusive package. NOT WORTH IT. While the Marriott severely overcharges for everything we still overpaid by going all inclusive. Dining options are also slim. Only two restaurants to choose from in the evening, one for breakfast and one at lunchtime. The one bright star of our stay was Jaymy one of the bartenders at the Salty Iguana. He was a pleasure to deal with and was always smiling. Overall I would not recommed the Marriott as an all inclusive option. So many restaurants nearby off property. So very disappointed

Hotel itself it’s very nice but some stuff working there not pleasant, beach very limited area , rocky not enough umbrellas and the food ? ! Horrible, wouldn’t recommend this island … Aruba much better !
