Stayed in Windermere for a wedding over weekend of 6th April 2024. Great hosts, very friendly service and fabulous breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent hot beverage selection. Free w WiFi. Short walk to local restaurants. 20 min walk to the lake. Great value for money.

A lovely cosy guesthouse with a warm welcome from Graham & Alison. Parking is good (a rarity here) and the location was quiet but ideally located for Bowness, Windermere and the Lakes. The breakfast was great and I will definitely be back at the earliest opportunity. Pity it wasn't the "Red Rose Guest House", writes a Lancastrian! Highly recommended.

Incredible price for what you get, graham is a great host very knowledgeable and gave us many many recommendations on where to go and how to get there we had 2 great days out due to him, the place has wifi, a TV a nice bed and decent space, the breakfasts were lovely and best of all this was for a very cheap price compared to the other places in Windermere! Thank you so much graham for mine and Catherine’s great time here

I stayed for 3 nights. Graham met me when I arrived. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. My room was at the top of the property and Graham, kindly, took my bag up. The room was a good size with a nice en-suite shower room. The B&B is very well located on a quiet street close to the shops, restaurants and to the station. This was my first time in the Lake District and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the B&B and all the areas I visited while I stayed there. I would highly recommend the White Rose.
