Crystal Mountain

It’s a lot more Blackpool-like than we would normally choose, but we didn’t have a choice as it was booked by the company that’s paying for our stay, so we have no right to complain!. Huge number of flashing lights in the public areas, lots of kids running around but it’s half-term so it’s expected. Room is very well appointed, lots of facilities around the hotel, a la carte restaurant food ok but not brilliant, staff not that friendly or helpful but maybe that’s because we’re not Polish! Great for families with kids but not cheap by all accounts. Not somewhere I’d return to, but on balance perfectly acceptable.

Hotel is nice, great area for kids. We have been there with our little one and he enjoy it. Food was medium (not great, not terrible). Room was ok, but TV should be at least connected to the Internet, if this is 5star hotel (no youtube, no netflix). Location is in woods with great view, but is little bit out from everything (1,5 km into the steep hill makes for walking difficult)

Great time with wife and kids! Room: could be bigger, but it was ok Swimming pool: great! Everyone can find something for himself, there are 4 pools, including one for adults and one for babies. Restaurant: Tasty food, we really enjoyed it. Activities for children: facilitated by "Kaczki Dziwaczki", just great, kids have had a great time (and parents too;)) Sauna infrastructure: perfect! Sauna culture: so bad! Staff should inform people entering the sauna area, that swimming costumes are forbidden there. When I was in aromatic (!) sauna: 1) 4 guys entered with words "c'mon, let's dry our pants" 2) the woman entered without closing the door and said "maybe with fresh air it would be better" The whole sauna area should be renamed and should be called "Great swimming costume dryer", it would be more suitable in those circumstances. Even if the hotel doesn't want to lost people in swimming costumes, it should divide saunas and create "family area" and "real sauna area", there still would be enough space for everyone. And this is the only reason I cannot rate the hotel better than 4/5.

It’s just sad. Premium paid for mediocre service. Lovely backgrounds just to be destroyed by concrete and glass without any higher meaning. Staff treats you like unwanted neighbor even though you’re paying couple grands. Food is no more than hotel standard. Going further we booked three days and we were practically kicked out due to postponing our stay to next weekend and someone misinterpreted our schedule. They made us wait couple hours until decided their approach when we told them that we booked 3 nights. Customer is always right? Hah, not here. If you’re looking for a pleasing place, do not come here, there are many better and nicer places than this synthetic wannabe glamour festival.

Super location for ski Lovers. We were there on March 2022 after winter holidays. Close to Skolnity, Ciemkow, Stożek, Czantoria ski slope. HB option worth recommendation - variety of food in the buffet and great view

Crystal mountain hotel was just perfect. Beautiful location. Excellent food. Irena Eris trea**ent was just something i will definitely come back for. Staff extremely polite. No time for boredom. This was just perfect family stay. Thank you ❤️

I’d say this hotel is overpriced, overcrowded and understaffed. The views are great, for sure, but mostly from the dining area, from your rooms ( even the best standard), you are surrounded by concrete. The food is very mediocre, staff unhelpful and slow. The overall impression that you get is the poor design and cheap materials in connection with an unseen scale of devastation of the natural environment- the behind of the hotel fills the whole area with aircon and vents noise, cars park all the way down the narrow street. I felt guilty of just allowing this kind of inves**ent to thrive in the area it is placed. Huge, mass market and not exclusive despite all the social media buzz. Pools area and kids play rooms are nice and this is the only positive thing that I will say

Location: great views from the windows (rom/restaurant etc.), steep road to hotel - not comfortable for walking (and/or driving). Parking (garage): really narrow but enough free places to spot something; quite cheap Room: Nicely decorated, comfortable, great views from balcony, comfortable bed, though AC is quite loud for such a new hotel, good sound-proofing Main Restaurant (breakfast/dinner): food was very tasty, huge choice of various dishes/meals/beverages; service is excellent - cleaning the tables/making sure the food is available; the restaurant (due to its size and huge amount of children) made me feel like I am in a school canteen Sauna: the saunas themselves and the sauna area is really nice; HOVEWER, there is no staff there - it means the rules are not followed and it is not a place for relax as people shout to each other, talk very loudly, they go to saunas with their pants/swimming costumes and even flip-flops!! Reception: when checking-out, the reception staff did not bother to ask me whether or not our stay was enjoyable - they just do not care Summing up, it might be a good hotel for people with several kids, who do not wish to relax in quietness (or people who do not wish to go to the restaurant and sauna area and will stay in the room).

We visited on the Chris**as package, from 23rd to 27th of December. It cost around £2600 in total, parking etc was not included. I’ll start with the positives: Location is beautiful. Access is easy. We parked on the 6th floor, reception is on 7th, or room was on 8th. Access to and fro is really easy. Views are fantastic. Pool area is really easy to access and great to use. Negatives: Food- Really disappointing. Bland and cold. Not good enough. Looked good, taste was very poor. Chris**as Eve dinner was probably the most disappointing. Another reviewer has pointed out that everything seems done on the cheap, to save costs. Juice is from machines, coffee the same (fetch it yourself). Prosecco was out on the counter but no one was ‘offering it’ and it was flat anyway. I honestly did not have a single mouthful of food that made me say ‘wow’ in 4-5 days. A real shame. Staff- Clearly not well looked after as they did not seem happy at all. No smiles or conversation. Exception being Dominik in the Lobby Bar and his female colleague (apologies that I didn’t get her name). Really polite and helpful. They were on duty on 23rd and 24th. Made great cocktails and were really friendly and polite to us all, even after we’d had one too many. Thank you. Covid measures- Masks for staff seem optional (Dominik excluded, who kept his on at all times). Everyone else is clearly under the impression that a mask is to protect their chin and their noses do not emit any kind of breath. Cleaners walking around corridors with no masks at all. Same in the restaurant. Guests ignored mask restrictions and were not reminded. It just doesn’t make sense. At. All. Beds: Absolutely shocking. Why on earth do hotels not pay for decent beds?? It was a pleasure to get out of bed, rather than into it. And our room had a sofa bed (for our 7 year old son) that was so hard that it felt more comfortable on the floor. Our son didn’t sleep on it, I did. I find it so annoying that a place where you visit to get relaxation scrimps on the bed quality. It’s so unnecessary. I’ve even stayed in cheap hotels that invest in beds because they know that clients will return after a restful stay. Not good enough, by a long shot. In conclusion: It’s a beautiful place, but clearly not 5 stars. I’d return, for the location if nothing else, but I wouldn’t rush back. It could be completely brilliant but it’s just not managing to reach its potential. Sort out the beds, the food and the crappy Covid measures, throw in some customer service skills and a few smiley faces and you just might have a hotel worth shouting about.
