Amazing stay just after our trip to Blenheim Palace. We couldn’t fault anything. Loved the room, every little detail was thought of. The comfiest bed, fine cotton sheets, a big bath perfect for soaking in! Fresh milk, even complimentary tooth brushes! The breakfast was delicious too. Will definitely be back.

We stayed in room 1 of the Crown for two nights, for my birthday. Delightful room with gorgeous bedding, fluffy pillows & duvet. Great settee area, and super large shower. Couldn’t fault it, thank you!

We had a very enjoyable one night stay the room was extremely large and well equipped. massive bathroom and separate shower and bath. We ate in the restaurant which has a limited menu but the food was fine.

I have just returned from a weekend at The Crown for my mums birthday and it was just what we needed. A warm, cosy and welcoming pub with large, clean and tastefully decorated bedrooms and really friendly staff who were on hand all weekend for any questions. We dinned in the restaurant on Friday evening and you really felt like you were staying in the heart of the Cotswolds. The food was brilliant and service all weekend was informal but on point and no ask was too much trouble. We will be back. Thanks for having us.

Very welcoming comfortable clean and well appointed modern room. Situated in Woodstock village a stones throw from Blenheim Palace. It is on the main road but great innovative sound proofing on the windows means any road noise is not noticeable.

Lovely hotel, staff really friendly. Room number 1 excellent although if the heating had been on upon arrival it would have been more welcoming as the room was cold although the lady who took us to the room tried to put the heating on the radiator had been turned off I resolved this quickly. Loose tea was a novelty good quality tea bags as an option would have been prefable. Although breakfast good and waiter very friendly there was a limited choice no fruit, cereals or croissants on the menu. Overall a lovely overnight stay.

The staff at the hotel were really professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty too (though an alternative to sourdough toast would have been appreciated). The hotel itself however, given the very high price, was disappointing in that it was shabby and tired. Being above a pub and adjacent to the main road it was a bit noisy. Generally prices are exploitive given the Blenheim effect. You pay for location rather than quality.

We have stayed at The Crown on several occasions and each time has been faultless! Always a warm welcome from the team there and rooms immaculate and beautifully decorated. We look forward to returning again soon! Thank you 🙏🏼 Kirsteen and Dean

Very comfortable and cozy room with well thought out amenities. Renewed bath. Very helpful and friendly young staff.
