La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Woodway - Waco South

The hotel entrance is nice and breakfast was very good (had freash scrambled eggs and sausage). Unfortunately, there were alot more negative then good due to the excessive noise lasting for hrs each night until 10pm and maintenance went into my room without my knowledge or request and removed the table from the living area.

Stayed 1 night with family of 4 in 2nd floor. 1st room A/C did not turn on, and toilet was not working. We were moved to a different room. 2nd room had roach in restroom, hairs on floor in RR. Also, A/C unit sounded like it was about to blow up. Wall painting were all missing only clips were on the wall. Both rooms smelled like mildew. The indoor pool is actually not true as it is open to the outdoor climate. So we booked thinking we would swim, but the 30 deg weather was too cold as the wall is open to outside. Morning breakfast at 10a the waffle mix was out, we requested for more and the lady in front desk said that when they run out they don’t put out anymore. When we explained how unhappy our stay was to her she just said sorry you had a bad stay. No customer service at all. Horrible service, and horrible rooms for the amount we paid.

Overall the stay was was great! What we didn't know at the time was the hotel was under renovations. So, it was very messy at times due to the work being done. Our toilet leaked from the bottom and the fridge barely worked. We did not bring this to their attention as we were not in the room a whole lot so it was a minor nuisance.

Probably due to the many construction workers staying but the floors were very dirty with clumps of dirt EVERYWHERE even late at night when we checked in and the crews would have already been in their rooms for hours. All dirt still everywhere the next morning. Breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating. Desk staff sat slouched over in their seats as if it was an inconvenience to deal with you. We thought from the ******* photos it looked like a newer LaQuinta that we have stayed in before, but this was very run down even though it wasn't that old. Probably won't trust the brand again for a future stay.

Was not aware of the construction in the facility. The staff were very quick to handle any issue we had. Very sweet staff!

Really friendly staff and clean room. The hotel is a little noisy from hwy outside and I was near the elevator. Pillows were all a bit hard but overall a nice place.

This was a gross place. I hope they're just renovating. But also, our room smelled like cigarettes. We had to get one of the front desk to print a note stating we didn't smoke in there so we wouldn't get charged. Bed was super comfy though, that's all I could say positive.

They were nice, but i booked an executive king bed room and paid in advance just to get there and be told it wasnt available and had to get a room with 2 smaller beds and smaller bathroom. The place was under construction, which wasn't told to us when booking on the website so the pool was closed and the halls smelled of plaster. Wasn't treated badly just disappointed that any plans to relax and enjoy our space didnt happen.

The hotel was under renovations which was not updated in their profile so the pool and jacuzzi were closed upon arrival. The television in our room did not work because the outlet it was plugged into didn’t work after having to move it to a different outlet. Bed was very uncomfortable.
