Really lovely quirky hotel. The building is a converted church with a lovely roof terrace that looks out over the canals and fields. Very friendly owner and well equipped quirky rooms, was great for our family. We enjoyed the breakfast and all the food seemed fresh contrary to a previous review. We also used the open area in the evening for playing card games etc. Close to Amsterdam but in a great spot for visiting Zaanse Shan's and the windmills. Well worth a visit.

This little hotel could have been a gem but … You have no access to any common area after 7 pm. No access to the terrasse, no access to the clients living room. So stay in your room or leave was the comment of the owner when we tell him our deception. The rooms are ok even if the windows can’t open, the air circulator s very noisy and the door hard to open. The breakfast is below the average with frozen croissants even if there was a bakery across the street. The orange juice is not fresh either. Our worst experience in a boutique hotel in the Nederland.

Over this place was ok. Some areas it was great others not so much. The excellent is the cosmetics and feel of the place. It’s extremely modern n everything is touch screen and modern. It was clean and for those reasons it was great. The bad it’s in the middle of nowhere. It will cost you about $80 for a taxi or Uber from Amsterdam. There isn’t much around the hotel for restaurants or anything for that matter. It’s in a residential area. So if you are looking for that vibe then this is your place. What really rubbed me wrong was when I asked the host/owner to arrange me a taxi for the airport the next morning which was about 530an. Instead of arranging he told me to call vs providing this service. Any other place we have stayed takes care of this. That small detail which would have removed some stress on our side was a fail on their part. Again clean and modern are the positives.

This hotel has everything. Near farms, windmills and cheese , and a short ride to Amsterdam , as an English family we were incredibly catered for for a full Dutch experience. This hotel has smart technology in a town that has seen time stand still. The host is superb. The rooms are clean. The food is great and the coffee top notch. Hire the bikes , use the paddle boards, drive the motor boat, they all get you even closer to nature. Highly recommend.

Very nice to stay for one night

Ziet er mooi uit, maar het is allemaal niet even praktisch. Wel design, maar de balans is wel een beetje zoek. Kamer op begane grond en wel last gehad van rokers die buiten met de deur open stonden te roken. Ook maakt de voordeur veel herrie als die dicht gaat. Kamers niet bepaald sound proof.

Excelente hotel para viajes en familia. El personal es muy atento y ofrecen un desayuno buenísimo, muy adaptado al gusto de los huéspedes. Dispone de una terraza fabulosa donde disfrutamos de unas magníficas vistas. Lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos!!
