Tulip Hotels - Wroclaw Patio

We stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 48 people, occupying a total of 24 rooms. The group loved their stay, and the close proximity to the Christmas Markets. The breakfast was fabulous, which included the ability to order hot food items. Thank you to all of the Patio staff who made our stay enjoyable.

Very good hotel, quiet rooms overlooking a patio at the back. Very convenient located. Nice staff and such good breakfast! Everything was served with elegance. Beautiful decorated plates and excellent quality! Staff was very helpful, smiling and attentive. I can highly recommend this place!

The hotel is in an excellent location, just 5 minutes from Rynek Square. It is very modern and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a lux room which was very spacious and overlooked a courtyard. We stayed in room 32 which was on the 3rd floor. Complimentary toiletries in bathroom, complimentary bottles of water, plenty sockets, plenty storage space. Check in was quick even though we didn’t arrive until midnight. Entrance to the hotel is up a covered alleyway. Breakfast was either hot or cold. Place your order for hot food of porridge, scrambled eggs,omelette, hard/ soft boiled eggs, toast, pancakes or waffles with the waitress. Tea, coffee and juice available. Selection of desserts, yoghurts and pastries. Baskets of bread with a variety of different types of bread. Plenty of variety of places to eat and drink in the vicinity. A must to try is smalec which sounds disgusting but is very tasty, it is a spread made from rendered white pork fat flavoured with crispy brown pieces and you spread it on bread. We were encouraged to try it when we visited a polish restaurant. Pierogies are also a dish to try as they are dumplings with various fillings and they come sweet or savoury. Prices are very reasonable compared to the uk and portions are generous. There is a guest house next door to the hotel called The Academus which is also a place to have a drink, owner is very friendly. Just bedside the hotel on the way to the square is a souvenir shop which changes to a bar at night, it is very cosy and has a good variety of drinks for sale. Wroclaw is a beautiful place and is somewhere we would definitely revisit.

Hotel Patio is situated in the heart of the historic centre of Wroclaw. It's a few minutes stroll to Rynek Square and its vast array of historic buildings, bars, shops and restaurants. The check-in process was friendly and efficient. The room [4th floor] was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom, whilst compact, was perfectly adequate. The shower water pressure was very low, which made for a near trickle of water, albeit hot and plentiful. The TV included the BBC News Channel, but nothing else in English. There was a kettle, cups, and complimentary coffee/tea etc (no milk) which were replenished daily when the room was serviced. The room also had a mini fridge, but no safe and air conditioning. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel itself is chic and stylish and in a perfect location. Highly recommended.

Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questo magnifico hotel. La posizione è strategica poiché è situato presso il centro di Breslavia. Le camere sono grandi, spaziose e moderne (l’unica pecca è la qualità dei cuscini che sono troppo morbido e il letto con il materasso duro… quindi per dormire si fa un po’ fatica la prima notte, bisogna solo abituarsi un po’ perché poi un po’ è meglio). Consiglio di fermarsi per la prima colazione in quanto è servita a buffet ed è molto abbondante. La struttura ben curata e moderna, il personale molto disponibile e cortese. Niente da aggiungere, provatelo!!

L'aspetto positivo dell'hotel è l'incredibile posizione centrale, per il resto non me ne vengono in mente altri. Chiedo all'albergo un taxi per il mio arrivo. Durante il soggiorno scopro che la tariffa proposta è esattamente il doppio di quella che viene richiesta dai tassisti. Per organizzarmi sul rientro chiedo alla receptionist se sia prassi che l'albergo prenda una provvigione sul taxi, Ma la receptionist con cui avevo già parlato di altre cose, finge di non capirmi. Allora utilizzo Google traduttore in polacco, Ma lei finge di non capire nemmeno in polacco. Attendo la receptionist del turno successivo alla quale con non poco imbarazzo mi dice che ogni tassista può fare la tariffa che ritiene. Incommentabile! Il taxi me l'avete trovato voi e me ne proponete uno che prende il doppio di quanto richiesto normalmente. Ma passiamo alla camera: il letto alla francese è davvero piccolissimo con una coperta per un letto a una piazza ed i cuscini così sottili ma così sottili da non poter essere ritenuti i cuscini. Chiediamo quindi ulteriori cuscini ed ulteriore coperte che ci vengono forniti. Ma la cosa più interessante è che nella stanza non ci sono tende oscuranti per cui al mattino entra la luce. Alla mia richiesta se ci fossero tende oscuranti o se si potesse cambiare camera mi viene risposto che le camere con le tende oscuranti costano di più e avrei dovuto pagare un sovrapprezzo di €20. Aggiungo che faccio la medesima recensione su booking, dove ho trovato l'hotel, e hanno ancora il coraggio di rispondermi che le tende ci sono e che io non ho rappresentato il problema. Non aggiungo nient'altro, vergognosi
