Very good hotel, good service, good facilities. Recommend to stay in this hotel

We spent 4 days in the hotel and were delighted with both the quality and quantity of the food options. Rooms were well equipped, the staff was kind and the spa next to the hotel is perfectly helping guests to relax. The only letdown was the all-inclusive deal itself: they only serve you at 1 of the bars, and only certain drinks are covered, e.g. if you ask for a lemonade or an ice coffee you have to pay extra, unfortunately due to these we can’t recommend the all-inclusive option at all, other than that great hotel to be at.

This was our 2nd stay at this property for 3 nights (came here same time last year). I really enjoy the town of Zalakaros and this hotel. It feels like a spa town, where you can take some lovely walks. The hotel is great, my only complaint would be their pillows which are horrible.. flat and hard as bricks. The entry into the spa is easy, love the indoor and outdoor pools. Breakfast and dinner are plentiful. Suggestion to the management would be to add carafes of tap water to each table. No guest should be made to feel bad or keep looking for drinking water and not everyone wants to buy spring water.

Nice family holiday, very tasty food, great wellnes and spa for adult and for children too, very kinf staff. Hotel room was clean. It was our 4th holiday here and we are looking for next time. Thank you.

We were there the 2nd time and everything was still very good. The lights on the heating system bothered me a bit because they were too bright and I like to sleep in the dark, but other than that everything was super :)

I highly recommend this hotel if you would like to enjoy the time with your family and children. Everyone is kind, especially the waiters during dinner and breakfast. The food is very good compared to other buffet dinners. The room is clean, we received the baby bed, baby tub and stool as we requested. We had a great time.

Everything was excellent! We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was really helpful. The spa is amazing! I will recommend the hotel and the spa for my family, friends and colleagues. Christmas time was beautiful there.

The Hotel is right besides the Public Spa of Zalakaros, with a direct access (a glass bridge) between the two buildings. The Spa has access medical, thermal water pools, but also a fun area and an extensive children's area besides an adults only Sauna complex. In the summer it has a much larger open-air part, with a number of pools, slides, etc. Staying at the Park Inn comes with free access to the pool. The family room that we were upgraded to was very comfortable, spacious and modern. Food at the restaurant was great - we had breakfast and dinner included in a buffet style - with more than enough choices to select from. Really hard to stay in shape during a stay here, as it is super hard to resist trying out the every changing food options... They also have a bar with a pool table, darts, etc. Parking has an option onsite for a nightly fee, but you can also leave your car literally next door (2 mins walk from the entrance) in a public open air parking area. We had a great time overall, we will probably return - but will be aiming to avoid Saturdays as both the spa and the hotel were super-crowded on that day during our stay.

A) Noisy, it's hard to get a good sleep: - The doors are not correctly set up, they are automatically slammed which makes a huge noise - No sound insulation on the doors, you can hear everything that happens in the corridor (the neighbors' doors being slammed, for example) - The restaurant is also very noisy, all the chairs make a huge squeeky noise when dragged on the floor B) Service is amateur - Bartender only able to make cocktails from the menu, even if all ingredients are available - Staff unable to provide Nescafe for breakfast in the restaurant, even though it's available free of charge in the rooms - No flexibility around late check out, only one option available for 28k huf/room (!!!) - Reception desk trying to overcharge you, not honoring the advertised weekend deal price. When I raised the issue they didn't say sorry but came up with some bs explanation. - We received a room where the heating was not operational. Reception desk only offered extra blankets, I had to decline and ask for another room (which I got eventually) - Poor selection of drinks in the bar D) Quality issues in the restaurant - terrible coffee, low quality 1.5% UHT milk - low quality ca. 25% fruit content juice - chicken wings from the a la carte menu not properly cleaned, feathers visible - eggs not properly cleaned, sh.t visible on the shells all over E) Dirty - Walls, carpet, and the chair in the room are quite dirty, having multiple spots. F) Positive stuff Larger than average selection of food (mostly tasty) and direct access to the spa. Conclusion: It's extremely overpriced, it's been globally the worst 4* hotel experience I had in this price range.
