Awful. Awful. Awful. Staff were not friendly; restaurants onsite were of very poor quality (when they bothered opening), the lodge was filthy, there are rats running around, the park is not traffic free as advertised. Facilities very low quality. Avoid at all costs.

We've just spent 5 lovely days here. Its our first time in a European CP, and I've got to say I was really impressed. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we had nothing but praise for the camp and the people working there. We were in a waterfront apartment with views overlooking the marina. The apartment itself was beautiful, and lovely and clean. After our arrival we just dumped our bags to explore the park. On our return I discovered we had no hot water. I phoned reception and within 10 minutes a lovely, helpful maintenance man arrived. He tried his best to get it working but the system needed a new pump. He contacted the company who sent out an engineer. Realising it was just my grandson and I, he even asked if I would like one of the centre parc staff to attend also. Which I thought was a very thoughtful thing to do. Within an hour it was fixed and up and running, with no more problems during our stay. The apartment was well equipped and the only thing I needed were the adapter plugs for the phone chargers. Our apartment had its own sauna, shower and jacuzzi bath. Although the bath took ages to fill, so we only used it once, the sauna was great and I used it every day. We also received fresh bread and rolls delivered to our door every morning, that really was a nice touch. We really looked forward to seeing what we were going to get each day From where we stayed we were literally a 5 minute walk to the Action factory, the archery range, the high ropes and crazy golf. Aqua mondo is more or less the centre of everything. The pool and slides are great, especially as they are free but my grandsons favourite was the Flow Rider, definitely worth the €15 fee. We also to the small ferry over to Spakenburg, a nice way to spend an hour or so. I cant comment on any of the restaurants because we didn't use any of them. But the park and staff I would give 10 out of 10 to. Unlike the UK parks I really feel we received some value for money, and wouldn't hesitate to visit again

We are currently staying here now. We booked a VIP cottage (and I use the word cottage loosely). When we first walked in, the smell of the cottage was awful. I don't know what it is! The amount of dead bugs splattered all over the cottage is insane. They are rolled up in the blind, all over the roof & walls. The bedding has black marks over it. Can't even really call it a bed that you sleep on, it is a load of gym mats layered on top off each other. No matress. at 2am this morning, we was woken by a strong smoke smell that was coming from outside & through the "fresh air vent" that is directly above the bed. The hot tub in the room is pointless. The one time we tried to use it, it took 60mins to fill 1/3 of the way!! Now onto the restaurants; we have eaten at 3 of them & they are all disgusting. At The Fuego restaurant, we ordered Ribs. 5 mins later, the ribs were plated & on our table. So that shows it is not cooked freshly. And there was no meat on them. The all you can eat Buffett was €40 each! And the selection of food was awful! There was no theme to it & the food was disgusting. Pictures of the dead bugs uploaded! A very good place to spend a weekend. 40 mins drive from Amsterdam. Pool was very good. There is a donut ride which is great fun (but they need a few more donuts), rapids which is very fun and a duo racer slide which is great for a race. The other 2 slides are ok. One is too small to be significant and the other hurts your back (needs re-sealing in the joins). There was a show indoors at the centre near the harbour which was good for entertainment. The cabin was basic but nice enough. Remember to bring soap and washing up liquid - and nicer toilet paper.

Overall, I have to say that the value for money at Center Parcs is a bit off these days. As someone who used to really like the whole idea of Center Parcs – you know, those cozy holiday cottages with lots of fun things to do, especially for families – I think it's important to point out a few things that bothered me during my recent stay. First off, we picked one of those fancier "VIP" holiday houses, but the place had a strong smell of mold, and you could actually see mold on the walls. I'm not sure when they last updated it. Also, the bathtub had some bugs in it, and there were some other cleanliness issues that caught my attention. As expected, the pool area got really crowded over the weekend. It's fine, but maybe they should think about limiting how many day visitors they let in when it's so busy. Just my two cents. You should also know that a Center Parcs getaway can get pretty expensive, especially if you're a family and you want more than just fast food. On a positive note, there are some free activities that are pretty good, like the Family Quiz Night. The staff at the park are mostly friendly and seem to care about guests having a good time. And I've got to say, the dinner buffet at Evergreenz is worth trying. The food's really good, and it's €40 per person, which isn't bad, especially considering you get free beer and wine. Unfortunately, this was the second time in a year that I didn't have a great experience at a Center Parcs resort. So, I might hold off on

I wasn't familiar with the "none-included" concept. However, it felt like they pushed it to the max. No towels - unless the gutters flood from rainwater seeping into your rooms. Musty linen. Ash smell.

Great value of you book early and the cottages (at least the premium ones) have a small room you can use as an unadvertised, bonus 3rd bedroom! Water park is great, kept even our demanding 12 almost 13 year olds happy for the whole week. Open till 9pm too! Cottages are very comfy with good firm mattresses and soft pillows. Kitchen good enough for meals in. Lots of activities, some a bit of a rip-off, others like surf rider amazing value (£10 for an hour). Very nice, attractive location (lots of trees, lakes and birds). Main drawback is if you don't have a car it's a bit isolated and you're dependent on the expensive on-site supermarket. We loved it though!
