Overall is a good place to stay for skiing. We had the 2bedroom and 2bathroom apartment. Spacious. It says free parking but I’ve been charged parking when I checked in, it’s not much under $10euro so I didn’t say anything.

Just a fantastic experience from start to finish. We stayed for 5 nights at the end of July as a family of six. Our children range in age from 4-16. Zell am See is a stunning place, we arrived by train from Copenhagen as part of our interrailing trip and even the train journey had the most beautiful views! Once we arrived we couldn’t quite believe our eyes at the size of the apartment, the huge balcony or the cleanliness. Perfect in every way! Even with six of us we never felt on top of each other. The location was also amazing with excellent local train and bus access - would highly recommend the mountain coaster in Kaprun, Sigmund Thun gorge or Mooserboden reservoir for great days out we also made great use of the local lido where the kids enjoyed jumping in the lake off the high board! All in all a perfect stop and we were sad to move on to our next destination. We will definitely be back!

Firstly the negative - if you’re sat out on the balcony of a front-facing apartment and want some peace and quiet you may be disappointed. The road through Zell am See gets quite busy. It’s not Hanoi at rush hour, but there’ll be noise. The positives - sound -proofing in the apartment is excellent with the balcony doors closed tight. Really made a difference during the Vespa festival when they were all whizzing past. And even on a warm evening sleeping with the windows closed is cool and comfortable - no air con needed here. Location is excellent - just a minute or two on foot from the railway station, and only a bit further to the Post Platz bus interchange and Spar supermarket. Lots of restaurants around, too. The apartment (two bedroom superior) had a huge balcony overlooking the opposite mountains and even had a view of the lake between the buildings across the road. Wasn’t expecting that. The apartment was very comfortable and modern. It had all the amenities we needed for a 2 week stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. The stay also came with the Zell am See/Kaprun Summer Card and Mobility Card for Salzburg State. If you don’t know what these are, check them out. They’re an outstanding idea which save a lot of money. I would not choose accommodation in Zell am See which doesn’t offer it. Would I stay here again? Yes.

Beautiful hotel, very well located near the center—just cross the street and you’re already there. We always stay there with four people in an apartment with two connecting rooms. It’s clean, everything you need is available, and there’s plenty of space for four people plus a child to enjoy a holiday. The staff is helpful and provides great service. We had a small issue with the hot water, but it was resolved very quickly For us, it was important to have a garage where we could store our Vespas. It’s a nice, large garage with spacious parking areas where you can easily park the trailer in one spot together with the car TOP!!!! I’m already booking for next year.

The room was clean and the balcony, along with two bathrooms were beneficial to our stay. The sauna was also nice to enjoy. I have two complaints for this hotel. The female staff (young Caucasian with brown hair) was a bit rude to me when I checked in. I told her my party of 6 were instructed to park our two vehicles outside of the hotel. She immediately got contentious with me and said I probably did not

Very nice apartments. Had a 2 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and large kitchen/ living area. Boot room very good and v short walk to ski lift . Paid extra for breakfast and it was well worth it.

Not a very comfortable stay in their 2 bedroom apartment. The hotel has no AC and the weather was extremely hot , and you have to keep the window open during the night and I can hear all the noise from the street and in the early morning which was super annoying. Their costumer service is average because the reception doesn’t answer the phone . Plus in the laundry room they only have two washing machine and one dryer their dryer was not working as well!! And they don’t offer iron in the apartment anymore you have to iron your clothes in the laundry room !! What a joke! I hated every minute of my stay in this apartment! Never coming again .
