Ferienhotel Sonnenhof

First time stay at Ferienhotel Sonnehof. From arrival to departure cannot find fault with anything associated with the hotel. Warm welcome. Comfortable room. Friendly a**osphere and staff. Good choice of food both for breakfast and evening meal. Enjoyed the entertainment that was arranged for 2 nights. Ideal situtaion for expoloring the surrounding areas.

This îs a family owned hotel with excelent facilities, located at the outskirts of the village near the ski lifts. However in my view the hotel is catered for mainly German speaking clients and thus they tend to be colder with people that don’t speak German, most probably due to language barriers. Which is a shame! Pros: one the best food selection I had in during our stays in Austria, very nice and cozy rooms / apar**ents, some of the staff in restaurant made real efforts to deal with us as non German speakers, very nice pool area, sledges and children strollers available. Cons: this is a 4star superior hotel but they have lockers in the spa area that operate with 1 euro coins (??), the farm house is not in the same building as the hotel so one needs to walk in the middle of December through the outside parking to access the pool area; did not manage to find slippers in the room, wanted to take some of the coffee as take away in the last morning but they don’t have paper cups to offer, some of the stuff in restaurant did not made and effort for helping non German speakers. Also in my view the hotel is missing a bar area where one can have a drink after dinner ( there are only few tables and armchairs around the reception, but not really a bar) What I also found strange (maybe is just me) is that you find across the hotel pictures of the family owning the business, including some that I find private such as from wedding, with grand parents, which children in different moments in time. But not really to complain on this.

The food was good. The shower was broken and they didn"t offered us another room. The second night after a long discussion we got another room. They promessed us an minibar for medication but when we arriveed it was a problem

Sehr schönes hotel und Zimmer. Gut ausgestattet und sehr bequem. Super Wellness. Sehr freundliche Personal im Restaurant, an der Rezeption, die Zimmer Damen. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut. Wir hatten Ski Ferien und war sehr gunstiger Lage für zillertal arena.

Im Sonnenhof sind einfach alle Bereiche sehr empfehlenswert… angefangen vom Service der immer freundlich und schnell ist…der Wellness Bereich lädt zum erholen ein … ein rundum gelungener Kurzurlaub… jederzeit gerne wieder im Winterurlaub

11 Tage im Sonnenhof -- Genuss pur - Raum für Ruhe, Spaß, Sport. Die A**osphäre lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein, immer wieder. Familie Wildauer und das engagierte, aufmerksame Team in allen Bereichen sorgen für unbeschwerte Urlaubstage in der traumhaften Natur. Das Frühstück - selbstgebackenes Brot, hausgemachte Fruchtaufstriche, Milch in großer Auswahl, Bioteaque Tees, Caro Kaffee, Kakao, Säfte. Hervorragender S*****en, leckeres Rührei, Lachs, Tomate Mozzarella - und so vieles mehr. Das Abendessen -- einfach lecker und jeden Tag positive Überraschungen. Ob bei der Vorspeise (Gorgonzola Terrine), Suppe (Wildconsomme mit Kräuterfrittaten), Hauptspeise (Roastbeef mit Pfifferlingsauce), Dessert (Nuss Souffle mit Eierlikörcreme) - da läuft mir jetzt noch das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Leckere Weine und das Zillertaler Bier, ideenreiche Cocktails runden den Genuss ab. Mit der Zillertal Activ Card haben wir viele Touren unternommen und konnten das Auto stehen lassen. Die Busverbindungen ab der Rosenalmbahn sowie die Zillertalbahn ab dem Bahnhof Zell sind ideal. Jeden Morgen auf dem Frühstückstisch liegt die Morgenpost mit Ideen für Ausflüge. Nicht daheim und doch zu Hause - genau so ist es und wir sind dankbar, dieses zu Hause entdeckt zu haben. Wir freuen uns aufs nächste Mal - GESUNDHEIT für uns alle bis zum Wiedersehen und D A N K E.

Niets op aan te merken! Mooie, ruime,propere suite in het landhaus. Vriendelijk personeel! Zeer goed ontbijt en indrukwekkende kwaliteit bij het avondeten. Leuk zwembad met comfortabele ligzetels en zwembadservice. Veel voor de kinderen om zich te amuseren... De perfecte vakantieplaats in mijn ogen...
