A Cozy Apartment in the Heart of Zermatt: Vrony Apartment at Hotel Walliserhof Nestled amidst the breathtaking Swiss Alps, Vrony Apartment at Hotel Walliserhof in Zermatt offers a truly enchanting escape. My stay at this charming apartment left me thoroughly impressed, and I'm eager to share my experience. The only downside if you booked the apartment is that you will have to head to Hotel Walliserhof Zermatt to register to check in and to collect the keys. The staff at Hotel Walliserhof were helpful and patient to share all the information. The Vrony Apartment itself exudes Alpine charm and modern comfort. The spacious living area, adorned with traditional Swiss décor, provided a cozy ambiance perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings view at their balcony (living room and rooms). Master room with toilet inside. And second room comes with loft with a small bed if you have another pax. The third room comes with another 2 single beds. There are a total of 3 toilets with 2 toilets with shower facilities. The fully equipped kitchenette allowed for convenient meal preparation, offering the option to dine in at our own leisure. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views from the apartment's balcony. Waking up to the sight of the majestic Matterhorn towering in the distance was a truly unforgettable experience. The balcony served as the perfect vantage point to soak in the beauty of Zermatt. The amenities at Hotel Walliserhof further enhanced my stay. The spa facilities provided a welcome respite, offering relaxation and rejuvenation after a day of hiking or skiing. Location-wise, Vrony Apartment boasts an ideal position in the heart of Zermatt. Just a stone's throw away from the vibrant town center and within easy reach of the ski lifts and train station. Overall, my experience at Vrony Apartment by Hotel Walliserhof was great!

Myself and two friends visited Zermatt in early May (9-11/5) and had booked the "apartment cosy" The location was really great with a fantastic view in the center of the village. We were lucky to have blue skies and sunshine the few days we stayed there, and the balcony in the sun overlooking Matterhorn was much appreciated. The apartment itself was also great, or more than great actually. I would also like to say thank you to the girl in the reception who was super kind and and helpful. Thanks a lot! /Thomas H

Several light bulbs were burnt out when arrived so the room is relatively dark. Only one light out of 4 in the kitchen is working so we need to move a standing lamp to light up the space. Check in instructions is not clear and we need to call the hotline and get the key from a hotel.

This place was an absolute let down, they were lucky we were staying in Zermatt and it is naturally beautiful town. The shower smelled like sewage so one of them could not be used since it was clogged and disgusting. The lighting did not work in the apartment. We tried finding a place to call and complain but their lobby is only open from very limited hours. At the end of our stay, we tried to talk to a manager about our stay and they said we had come back at 3 pm to talk to someone (we were literally checking out, why would I stay in a town after 3 pm to complain to them). I would say there are tons of other options in the town, that may be a bit more pricey (even though this one was pricey enough) that may be more worth it. I tried talking to the manager about our experience via email and completely denied everything- which makes sense, we are far away no need to satisfy the customer. I am telling you, this place is not worth it.. plenty of other options- go for them. I am an avid traveler have stayed in many different places and this was a low budget stay with the desire of classy and luxury, completely missing the mark.

We rented this three bedroom apartment. Was a modern, tastefully furnished very spacious apartment. It was super clean. Very close to the Zermatt train station and many restaurants. We were very happy with this place and would definitely recommend it to other families
