An absolutely magical stay! Yujian No.8 is nestled in an awesome location on the iconic Tunxi Old Street. Housed in a beautifully restored old house with perfect taste, the hotel radiates a super Chinese-style charm. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our room was both authentic and very comfortable. It was the most romantic and unforgettable backdrop for a couple's getaway. Super recommended!
Location: Walking distance from the gate entrance for free and easy travellers like us. Not far from all the main attractions in the town area. one of the cable car stations is just 2 minutes away and the bus to the other cable car station (to TianTai temple) is 5-10 minutes walk away.
The hotel also has a small restaurant. convenient if you just want to stay at the hotel at night.
The hotel next door offers great lunch and dinner buffet. We loved the spread.
Only thing that you need to take note is the hotel is located slight higher up the hill, need to walk up/down staircases to get there.
We felt incredibly fortunate to stay at Danyuan Boutique Inn. The host was very welcoming and took extra care with everything. We had great conversations, and even though we had to use translation apps, we felt like friends after just one day. His wife cooked a wonderful dinner and breakfast for us of local cuisine - it was a unique and authentic experience. This was our favourite place to stay throughout our extensive travel through China! I strongly recommend to everyone: Chinese and international travellers. Thank you!
Great place to stay! Super nice people at the reception who are so sweet and willing to help with everything. Additionally, you are every close to the entrance of the park which is super nice. You can just get up early, walk for 10 min to the entrance and get breakfast along the way! Would recommend to stay here!
We used this as a base to get around different scenic areas. It was close to the west parking lot of Hongcun, where several buses can take you to different places, including the Huangshan Scenic Area. The hotel was tastefully decorated and most distinctively, it had a movie lounge and a tea appreciation area. Make use of the hotel's golf cart service to get to the west parking lot and back. There were afternoon snacks provided and they varied each day. The only downside was probably the lack of shops within a 200m radius.
JJenniferOur stay here was fantastic!! The husband and wife who run this place are so kind and friendly. They went above and beyond to help us such as dropping us off to South Gate to go hike up Huang Shan mountain, giving us hiking sticks and getting us a shared ride back to Huang Shan North Train Station. They offer breakfast and offer lunch at the place! The rooms were super comfortable and really warm. Thank you so much for all your help and wishing you a happy new year 🧧🥰😊

ゲゲストWe enjoyed our stayed at this little hotel and Mr Lung, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. It is within Walking distance to Old Street. When we checked out, we wanted to take a taxi but he took bus to the nearest bus station ( just outside his hotel ) and cost us only RMB1.00 to Huangshan Airport. A taxi fare would cost maybe RMB50. For those traveling to Huangshan mountain, ensure you have the stamina to hike for 6 hours. After Huangshan mountain, Tunxi Old Street is a place to visit. We also visited Shexian town with no regrets. Once again, thank you Mr Lung. Steven Cheah from Malaysia.
ゲゲストWe really enjoyed our stay here. Gorgeous place and in a perfect location. The people were really kind and friendly. They helped us with our bags from the entrance as cars are not allowed in the scenic area. Breakfast is huge and delicious (Chinese). We already miss xiaohei, the resident dog there. Definitely going to stay here again.
