「Basement or 1st floor rooms have mold issues, hotel has a long standing drainage problems due to its proximity on a hill, they probably never should have made basement units, lol, so just ask for a room floors 2-4 and all will be fine. Its one of the best locations for visit to the Toronto area, check out the beautiful lakeside parks in the area, a short drive will. bring you to the history and beauty of Oakville and its efforts to retain its historical roots. I had no issues when I asked to move out of the basement, they completely understood my concerns. Oakville is a gem and I hope it retains its low density feel and they avoid the huge condo developments that lead to congestion issues.」
