Worth the short hike
It is a fantastic walk through the forest and then arrive o. Top of the hill with the ruins and nice views. The interpretive signs tell the story of this long forgotten and rediscovered ruin.
There's still a few things to explore....
Southwest of Bishopsheim is the ruins of Osterburg, a Roman Weather Facility, which was probably resided until the 17th century and most likely always in several sections...
