A beautiful place to visit if you like natural scenery. When I was there it was rainy and misty and the mountain was still very beautiful. If you go when it’s rainy be careful because the paths are very slippy, but it’s not so bad you can’t climb. It’s a relatively easy climb. I did the whole mountain, up and down, at a very leisurely pace in 7 hours. If it’s too tiring, there are cable cars you can take up and down. The only bad thing is that the Buddhist caves at the top of the mountain are not in very good repair. There was a lot of rubbish and construction material dumped next to the statues. Walking up and down the rivers through the gorges was the best part. Even on a rainy day in the winter low season there was food to eat on the mountain (but not all the stores are open).Flyingsnail
