The Napalai Hotel is in dire need of a refurbishment. It seems that they've attempted to mask issues with layers of paint, but now it's peeling off, revealing underlying problems. Even the supposedly "superior" rooms are anything but, with inadequate lighting and cleanliness concerns that necessitated a room change. The attention to cleaning detail is lacking throughout the hotel. The standout aspect of the hotel is its reception staff, who are commendable. However, the pool area is disappointing, with cold water and uninviting surroundings. Attempts to improve the area, such as painting the floor, have only made it look worse. The beds were comfortable. Located approximately 1.6 km from the city center, the hotel's pond also requires attention. Our stay, lasting only three nights, was further marred by the subpar club experience at the Rhythm Bar. Despite offering an English menu, the bartender struggled to understand orders and service was sluggish. Reserved tables were often left empty, contributing to a lackluster atmosphere devoid of a dance floor. While the DJ was passable, the MC's performance left much to be desired. Staff members seemed dispirited and unapproachable, creating an overall somber atmosphere rather than a lively one.
