ゲゲストthe biggest problem of this hotel is there is no front desk service. If you are foreign travelling without a German mobile, it will cost you a fortune for you to call the front desk. Also the lady behind the phone, I think, is a Russian. Unless you are a English speaker, it will be quite difficult for you to understand her. Also the wifi availability in each room depends on whereabout your room is. Other than that, there is really nothing to complain about.
KKirshenboimThe hotel has no staff to meet you. So check-in is being done with software - long and hard process, where you wait and do it in the entrance, without any place to sit. It was not clear that we can do it a day before and in such situation - it could have saved us the check-in puzzle at 11:00PM after long flight and train journey. Breakfast is served in a box to the room, but arrived on time only at the first day. breakfast is poor. The late arrival did not leave us time to eat it. When we asked what is happening, the final answer was at night.... There was is no cleaning of the room while we stayed, and if I understand correctly there is a way to replace the towels by yourself. The kitchen in the room is good and has all what is needed.
All in all - if you consider it as renting a house/room for short time with no service - it is a good choice, If you expect room service and decent breakfast, this is not the place for you. Subway is short walk away - about 14 minutes.
GguestFrom the airport, you have two ways to get to the hotel.
Plan A : Take S8 to Ostbahnhof. Take U5 and get off at Innsbruck Ring. Change trains to U2 and get off at Josefsburg. Take the elevator on your right to the ground. Walk to the right and you can see the hotel on your left.
Plan B : Take S8 to Ostbahnhof. Take tram 21 and get off at the stop(see pictures below). Walk to the church and you can see the hotel.
The reception of the hotel and the building with rooms are different. Be careful.
The hotel is not in the central of the city, but you could hear the church bells ringing.
There's no washing machines or washing room. You can ask the reception to bring your clothes to a laundry shop nearby.
