Join renowned artist Ian McKeever and Professor Paul Gough for an insightful conversation about the exhibition "Against Architecture" at TheGallery in Poole. Taking place on 18th January 2024 at 17:00, this event offers a unique opportunity to delve into the artistic process and explore the themes behind McKeever's site-specific installation. Originally showcased at Matt's Gallery in London, the exhibition has been reimagined for the Upper Gallery at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB). McKeever's use of standard building materials, such as stud walling timbers and plasterboard, creates a labyrinth-like structure within the gallery space. The walls, adorned with small photographic-painted panels, establish an intriguing interplay between the depicted spaces and the architectural framework supporting them.
