今日は朝食後、マーク・トウェインの旧邸を訪問するため、コネチカット州の州都ハートフォードへ車で行きます。マーク・トウェインは19世紀後半の有名なアメリカの作家でした。彼は家族とともにここに住み、彼の最も有名な作品の一つである「トム・ソリアの冒険」を完成させました。今日は作家さん自身の家の窓に私のお気に入りの作品が飾られているのを見てちょっと興奮しました。この家は、2012 年に世界で最も歴史的な住宅の 1 つに選ばれました。とても興味深いです、強くお勧めします！
