It’s just a TWO MINUTE WALK to the beach and the wide walking paths along the beach! We purchased this lovely lake home in 2024, and carefully renovated it with every comfort for the discerning traveler in mind. The home is 4-season and nestled into the trees of a quiet neighborhood along the shores of Lake Winnipeg.The kitchen, dining room and living room (with wood-burning fireplace) are spacious and open-concept. The kitchen is well stocked with every type of pot, pan, bowl or utensil you would require. A starter kit of Keurig pods will be in the pantry, along with a large selection of tea, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a some spices. There is a small office area with desk in the kitchen. Wifi is provided by Starlink.Each bedroom has fresh linens and towels, down comforters and its own electric heat control. As well, they have ceiling fans.A large 3-season sunroom spans the front of the house. With a sitting area at one end, and a table and chairs at the other end, it is the perfect place to sit and relax. From the sunroom, step out onto the side deck which has a Adirondack chairs, a gas barbecue and a herb garden. Or from the front door, go down a few stairs to the brick patio at the front of the house. There are Adirondack chairs here as well.The back yard is private, well-treed and fully fenced, The outdoor dining table has 6 chairs. A firepit is in the back yard with a stack of firewood; more wood is available at the local convenience store. There is a deck box in the back yard with beach chairs and a wagon to take your possessions down to the beach for the day. Beach towels are also provided.Sandy beaches, miles of walking and biking trails and in winter, ice fishing. Bathroom has toilet, sink, tub and shower. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc., and has a fridge, stovetop and oven. There is also a BBQ and propane, picnic table, chairs, fire pit, hot dog sticks and firewood. No smoking inside the cabin. Friendly, quiet dogs are welcome!However if your dog has any issues with cats, we kindly ask that you do not bring them along. Guests will be provided with bed linens and bath towels but please bring your own beach towels. We have 7km of walking trails on site. Kayaks, paddle board and canoe available for rent. Pontoon tours of the lake or to the deeper water for swimming, available for an additional fee. Pontoon comes with an operator, guests are not permitted to take out alone. Our lake is shallow for a long way out, so it’s not the best for swimming. And our lake doesn’t have any fish, but there are many lakes within a 20 minute drive that are good fishing. The Whiteshell Provincial Park is well known for the number of hiking and biking trails, with elevation and difficulty for all ages. After a day enjoying the surrounding Whiteshell area, you can unwind on the deck with plenty of seating for everyone to relax and continue to enjoy and appreciate the beautiful scenery. The deck is equipped with a Weber grill, making it the perfect spot for a summer BBQ.The lake is abundant with fish, making it an ideal spot for those avid fishermen. So whether you're a fisherman, a cross-country skier, a snowmobiler, a snowshoe enthusiast, or a nature lover, there is something for everyone year-round. The winter months are a great time to explore the natural beauty of the area. This winterized cottage sleeps 6 comfortably during the summer months and 4-6 during the winter months, with one queen bedroom and the other bedroom has 2 double beds, each with high-quality mattresses, luxury sheets, and covers. The newly built 120 sf bunkhouse overlooking the lake, includes a queen-sized bed, high-quality mattress, luxury sheets, and covers.
