Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

We booked the Superior Double Room and I felt it was well worth the extra for the gorgeous view we had from 2 large windows - whether the skies were sunny or cloudy. The location was excellent - within 5 to 10mins walk to the town and to Derwent Water and parking was well explained and ample. On entering Fellpack House, it was pleasant, well cared for and inviting. Our room on the top floor (stairs all the way up) was straight out of a home & decor magazine. The amenities, furnishing, towels and beverages were quality stuff and we saw that they also used locally sourced soaps and beverages. Housekeeping was daily and I loved that the gave us delicious chewy chocolate chip cookies each day! The breakfast was fresh & flavourful. That they started off as a restaurant (that operates across the road and is highly rated) carries through in their breakfast - I ate so much and it was worth every calorie! Best of all were the staff. We met many over the course of our stay and every one of them were warm, chatty, highly customer-oriented and witty! Can you tell how much I loved our stay there 😀

1.ホテルの場所はとても良いです。クルーズターミナルまで徒歩10分以内です。近くにはたくさんのレストランがあり、宿泊施設はとても便利です。部屋は広く、意外なリビングルームがありますが、リビングルームの横はベッドの横にあり、通りの隣にあります。朝と夕方は少し騒がしいです。特に英国の車の速度は一般的に速いので、少し注意してください。朝食は事前に用意されたパン、ヨーグルト、シリアル、ミルクなどです。冷蔵庫にあるものもあれば、ロッカーにあるものもあります。あまり期待しないでください。 2.車でお越しの場合は、フロントデスクで駐車カードを1日3ポンド、無制限の駐車場、駐車できる場所がいくつかありますが、実際には非常に便利です。出発するときは、最初に駐車場に行き、戻るときはフロントデスクに鍵と駐車カードを置くことができます。

The room is clean and tidy. Surrounding is quiet and comfortable. Attendants are nice and helpful. Breakfast is fresh, delicious, with plenty of choices.

湖のエリアには多くの美しいホームステイがあり、このホテルもそのうちの1つです。部屋には綿棒と綿片、宝石ガラスボックスもあります～朝食は前日に注文されます。ホテルのオーナーは個人的に料理をします。絶妙で豊かな～ 唯一の欠点は、私たちが泊まった2日間は少し暑かったこと、エアコンがなかったこと、そしておそらくファンがあったことですが、私たちはそれを見つけませんでした...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stafford Guest House. The property is beautiful, set within peaceful surroundings and complemented by a lovely garden. We stayed in the four-poster bedroom, which was spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly balanced comfort with a touch of luxury. It also offered delightful views overlooking the garden. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, providing engaging conversation as well as helpful local recommendations. Everything was clearly explained upon arrival, making the entire experience smooth and effortless from the very beginning. Breakfast was both delicious and generous in portion. Additionally, there is a charming village pub just a short walk away — The Boot & Shoe Inn — which added to the experience. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

衛生面：テレビ台に髪の毛が少し落ちていましたが、比較的清潔でした。バスルームと寝具も清潔でした。バス停、様々なレストラン、スーパーマーケット、ガソリンスタンドも近く、配送もスムーズです。 環境：公園に隣接する道路沿いに位置しており、とても快適で比較的静かです。 私の部屋（4号室）は写真よりも綺麗で、少し新しい感じでした。最初は30年前の家具が置いてあるかと思いましたが、実際は10年前のカントリースタイルといった感じでした。部屋はかなり広く、大きなスーツケースを広げることができました。 サービス：朝食も注文でき、アメニティも充実しています。 設備：1階にあり、荷物を運ぶのに数段の階段があります。 デメリット：1階では必ずカーテンを閉めてください。カーテンを閉めないと、通りすがりの人から部屋の中が見えてしまうことがあります。夜10時以降は強い臭いが漂い、少し耐え難いです。部屋のドアは施錠できないようでしたが、貴重品は持っていなかったので尋ねませんでした。3日間滞在しましたが、全体的に見てコストパフォーマンスは良かったです。ただ、イギリスのリゾート地では夏のピークシーズンだったので、あまり期待しない方がいいかもしれません。

可以看到湖的小院，服務熱情周道，衞生很好。可以在店裡晚餐，喝酒。非常温馨。我們到達的時候雨天，所以在酒店裡就可以hangout，也不怕風雨。晴天可以看到湖和雪山。早餐半自助，可以點一份現做的餐，我比較推薦french toast。我們早餐的時候看到外面跑過兩衹兔子。

The hotel I was originally booked in had a flood so at the last minute I had to find another one, I found  Arkale lodge and it didn’t disappoint, the rooms are pretty basic, but extremely clean which  in my book is more important than a fancy room. And certainly good enough for the price I paid, the gentleman that showed me around was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 which was perfect for my continuation of my Hadrians wall walk. The Breakfast was included in the room price and was exceptional (full English, which I easily adapted as a non meat eater)  It was plentiful, delicious and freshly made. And a great start to my long tiring day  Thank You so Much  For your kind hospitality  Cathie :)

湖水地方の真ん中にあるまともな場所にある素晴らしいホテル。 5マイル離れたアンブルサイドまで徒歩/自転車で行くことができます。低い滝は、周辺の素晴らしい景色を眺めるためにハイキングしやすいです。 ホテルは、部屋のある民家のようなものです。ベッドルーム、バスルーム、リビングルームのある小さなスイートがあります。リビングルームから湖が見えました。 バスルームにはバスタブのみがあり、シャワーヘッドはなく、髪を洗うのが難しかった。それを除いて、それは非常によく整理されていました。 朝食は近くのパブ - グッドスポーツで行われました。フルイングリッシュ、朝食ロール、トースト、お粥など、メニューの選択肢は限られていました。パブでの夕食も10%。
