We had a decent stay at the house. The room is pretty small but it is clean. The common area are nice with dinner table and chairs, but only have 1 living room chair. Kitchen is nice and clean, unfortunately, there were some issues with ants in the kitchen. The major issue with the house is the noise.. as the wall are very thin which when any other guest walking in the common area or talking in their rooms, you pretty much can hear everything. The common area lights are motion sensitive and unfortunately the door gap in our room are bigger than normal, as anyone walks in the hallway, our door frames would lights up at night and wake me up at night. We didn't get too good of a sleep/rest for this reason.
ゲゲストThe separate cabin was cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. I had a couple of issues though. I attempted to confirm our reservations two days before our arrival, but phone messages and emails went unanswered until the day before our arrival. In that the inn is located in a remote area, I had to make contingency reservations at another hotel, which I cancelled after my reservation with the Bush Inn was finally confirmed. The loft sleeping area is unsafe to access by ladder. Elderly and overweight adults and children are apt to fall using that ladder. The shower curtain feels as if I am inside a plastic bag. Nightly train whistles are annoying and sleep disruptive. I'm surprised Index residents haven't taken action to curtail them.

AAmyPerfect for solo travelers or small group where you don't mind sharing beds.
We did not get the chance to hang out, we were on the move from the time our feet hit the floor to the second our heads hit the pillows in the evening. Safe and convenient location!
Host was in constant communication with us which was amazing since we traveled by train and experienced unforeseen delays in our arrival.
We arrived late on a Friday night and I'm sure we weren't the most quiet though we at least tried to be. Quiet hours were definitely not observed or respected by other guests so keep in mind, it could be noisy.
We were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed heated bathroom floors!
MMrSamPros
The room was decorated fine and was close to the park. The bed was super comfortable.
Cons
Because my phone number is international, they never sent me the text to check in. There was nobody at the entrance so we had to call. Man who picked up had a pretty bad attitude, but the girl was friendly.
Room smelled like an armpit that hasn’t been washed in weeks. Also the fridge in the shared living room was completely stocked by another guest. The other guests were loud and talkative until around midnight, and started the next day around 5:30AM.
Next time I’ll stay farther away and drive. Maybe in Concrete
ゲゲストWe had an excellent stay, and only wish we could’ve stayed longer! The beds are cozy, showers are perfect, and the owners were very friendly. We loved the breakfast- our kids loved having freshly laid eggs and then heading out to meet the chickens :) We would definitely recommend this place!
ゲゲストThe location, facilities and service were excellent. The porcelain tile floors in our cabin were unnecessarily waxed and very slippery. The wax needs to be removed to prevent a slip and fall.
