The bathrooms were dated and not very clean. There was evidence of mold in corners and the chips in the tub had a temporary fix. Although check is 11am, key cards stopped working at 10am and multiple families were locked out of their rooms.

We always have a good stay, and it’s close to where we visit. We never stay for breakfast as I love my poached eggs. Will definitely be back! We have told many of our stay at the Super 8 and the price is right. Only one thing, time for some new pillows! And fridge was not working…..no coffee makers, no microwaves in rooms.

This is my favorite Hotel in the area. Besides the staff being awesome the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Perfect for a family getaway. The restaurant food is really good and so is the service. A good selection and the coffee is hot. You can book a room with family to just walk out your patio door and enjoy the luxurious pool and hot tub. I have been going to this hotel for years now and will continue.

After a day of driving that began in Moncton, New Brunswick, and a huge storm near Ottawa, we stopped for the night at the Holiday Inn Express just off the highway in Pembroke. After a friendly check in, we were given a pet-friendly room as we were traveling with our dogs. The room was large with a comfortable seating area and a very clean bathroom. The hotel was quiet, and we were able to have a great rest before continuing our cross-Canada drive in the morning. The breakfast was the standard Holiday Inn Express fare with pancakes, omelets, and a choice of continental style. This was a nice haven from the storm we drove through to get to Pembroke on a 1300 km day.
