Excellent little spot by the beach, in our opinion this end of the beach was much nicer than the main Dikwella bay. Clean, calm and quiet - everything you could ask for. The hotel has private sun loungers which are always empty and available. The hotel food is great, the pizza is cheap and absolutely amazing. We tried surf lessons with an excellent surf school next door which was great fun. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean - totally fine. Hiriketiya is just 5 minutes down the road in a Tuk Tuk and to be honest this beachfront is much nicer than Hiriketiya which we found busy, touristy and dirty - but there are some great cafes, shops and restaurants to head over for in the evening or morning. Casa Smeralda staff were helpful and attentive - they always went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants a peaceful, calm beach hotel to relax in! Side note: delivery apps did not work to this location but there are plenty of local restaurants to walk to.

ダブルルームの部屋を使用しました。民泊のような感じで、部屋は広く、トイレとシャワーは簡易的に分けられていました。また、スリランカで泊まった宿の中で一番水圧の強いお湯が出たのは良かったです。部屋の反対側には料理スペースや洗濯機があるので便利です。(洗濯機は使用するのに500ルピーかかりました)ビーチにも近く、スーパーや飲食店も多いので非常に便利な宿でした。多分ゴールで安く泊まるには一番最適な宿だと思います。アメニティは必要最小限(シャンプーとボディソープ)がありました。

Wir habe eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht und insgesamt, war es ganz in Ordnung. Allerdings haben wir ein paar Dinge zu bemängeln: 2 von 3 Betten in dem Zimmer, hatten deutlich sichtbare Flecken. Die Dusche war sehr verkalkt. Ansonsten war das Zimmer ganz ok, die Ausstattung ist sichtbar schon einige Jahre alt, kann aber mit den modernen Standards mithalten. Der Pool ist groß und sauber, allerdings gibt es nur eine Liege. Durch die geringe Auslastung des Hotels, während unseres Aufenthalts, hatten wir das Gefühl, dass der Service überambitioniert aufdringlich war, was teilweise störte. Zusammengefasst, ist dieses Hotel eine gute Möglichkeit für ein paar Nächte. Es hat eine gute Lage und ist zusätzlich noch eingezäunt.

I don't know what to say about this place. It's okay, but nothing special. You can't lock your room because they don't give you a key and lookers are broken It isn't far away from Hiriketiya beach and Dickwella beach

We stayed in both the shared room and then private room with outside shower. Both were very clean, the service was good and location quite convenient.

マネージャーの教育が行き届き若いスタッフの動きがとても良いです。駅、要塞、バスターミナルが近く歩いて行けます。周りには駅前らしい出店があり、とてもにぎやかです。ホテルにレストラン、バーも併設されていて街中での目立つ場所です。シャワーも熱く十分でクーラーも効いています。ありがたいことでお勧めします。

Вернулся в R BackPacker Hostel — чисто, дешево, атмосферно. Персонал — на связи, помог с вопросами и маршрутом до Катхалувы. Общая кухня — плюс, можно заварить чай и познакомиться с другими путешественниками. Шумно вечером — но это же хостел. Кровати удобные, душ горячий, Wi-Fi работает. Для бюджетного отдыха — идеально.
