It is a travel in time. Literally. Building is a jewel, truly extraordinary, in good shape. Common areas are in good shape yet a bit dated and lack decent lightning. it’s shame Bedrooms though are less than a 3 stars. All is BAD except the linen; lack of furniture; no tv channels; terrible lightning; it’s unexplainable. Bathroom is spacious and from the 1970s but I liked it very much design wise. The attitude of staff is VERY weird, as if everyone knew something is wrong. We arrived in a rainy evening. The check In person was nice but seemed lost or that he had drunk too much. Unclear. We had dinner and breakfast there. The price of wines is a scandal. Absurd. Food was ok, also overpriced. The hotel is clearly understaffed in order to be kept afloat. They ask you to please book the breakfast time. Staff was okish, old fashioned, not kind, burned out perhaps but trying to do their work ok. There was a strange demeanor though— most specially someone that identified himself as ‘Barman’ and that seemed to be the head of some mafia. Really bad energy from him. The whole thing does not feel credible, even the descriptions of the group to which the hotel belongs sound infatuated. To sum up: Is a grand and old hotel that clearly needs to change hands, enter in a diferent attitude towards hosting, get into a new type of grandeur and life that honors the incredible building and location. Now, for €107 with breakfast, I highly recommend it! Have dinner somewhere else or there, take your wifi, enjoy the park, wake up in the middle of the forest etc. breakfast is 4*.

Viagem escolhida de repente mas foi um dos melhores hotéis que podia ter escolhido, funcionários super atenciosos e simpáticos, quartos espaçosos e limpos, uma varanda com vista e máquina na recepção com bebidas (cafés, capuccino, chá…) grátis 24h por dia. Been here for the first time last week. The hotel exceed my expectation. It seems the hotel has 3 separate main buildings in the area. You must wear your mask inside the property. It has been a wonderful experience to spend family time in the hotel. 1. LOCATION The location is easy to reach by google maps. You will read a small sign (Herdade Lago Real). If you pass the road to Mira beach, you can see the hotel from your way. It is only 4 mins from the city center. When you need something, you can go there to buy things to Pingo doce or Intermarché. 2. PRICE The price is OK. We paid almost €100 for 1 night and it is worth-staying more than 1 night there. We booked by phone and paid at the property when we checked-in. 3. PARKING It is easy to find park your vehicle there and it is totally free. 4. FACILITIES I do not know which one I should mention first since they provide many things. - ROOM The room is quite spacious for 3 of us. The room is clean and well equipped. They have TV, AC, and small fridge. Unfortunately, our fridge did not work well. We put our drinks there and did not cold at all. The bathroom is quite big and with complete equipment. It is clean. You have bath-up, hairdryer, clean towels, and bath compliments. The building seems like an old building but it doesn't matter for us. They do maintenance well. Everything is clean. - POOL They have main pool and small pool in other building. Both are very clean. It is very good for relaxing. Many benches are available for the clients for free. - Tennis yard, football field, bilyard, bicycle are for free. You just need to go to the receptionist and ask them. - LAGOA The kayak is free. It is so good to ride the boat there. The water is clean. Good view. - SMALL ZOO They have some animals to see like birds, pony, and many more. It is free to see around. - Playground for the kids for free - Bar near the pool. - Massage place. You can do appointment and pay there. - Buffet dinner is available at the property €15 per person. You must do booking in the receptionist. 5. STAFF Staffs are friendly and helpful. They are nice. We saw they always clean the space due to covid19. 6. BREAKFAST Food is good. We like it. You have fruits, bread, drinks, and cereals.
