ブスアビーチリゾート(Busua Beach Resort)

Busua Beach Resort is in the perfect location situated right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Ghana. You can walk straight out of your air-conditioned room into a warm, clear sea. The beach is clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished with a large Queen-sized comfortable bed - I wish it had some African furnishings, so that you knew you were in Ghana! The pool was great for a swim, although one of the pools was green! The staff are helpful and friendly. The only thing that let it down was the food, which was very disappointing. Sitting in the bar overlooking the sea was magical, it just would have been better with better food and a fresh pineapple smoothie!!

Check-in was super simple, just had to fill in a form with my name and number etc. Everyone at reception is really friendly and the process really easy. Check-in is from 9:30 onwards, I checked in around 3 and still had to wait 10 minutes for my room to be ready. The rooms are simple, with a large double bed, tv and some standard furniture, the air con works very well and makes sleeping very comfortable as it’s very hot here. The bathroom was very big with a shower, sink and toilet which all worked just fine, the shower head was rather old though, and only 2 settings on it worked as there was lots of limescale. The complimentary breakfast is very good however is not a full English, there’s cereals, juice, toast, omelette station, traditional Ghanaian dishes and then beans and some chicken sausages, but it’s was still very delicious! My room was super close to the beach and to the pools, the pools looked clean and were a great bonus to have while staying there. The village is just a short walk away on the road or the beach, the resort is in a pretty perfect area, it’s private but you can still access other bars and restaurants, and see the local shops. Check-out was also really easy but if you’re paying with cash, just be aware they may be short of change!

We had the best stay at Busua. All the staff were friendly, the food was great and the accomodation good. We would definitely be back.

Very amazing staff, extremely clean, the area is well kept and nice. The property seems a bit out of the 90ies, but that is ok, the service makes up for it!

This property is right on the water very peaceful and inviting. I just wish more attention is given to the room conditions they need upgrading badly. The staff is amazing very accommodating. Looking forward to going back.

Went there with friends to celebrate our last night. Waited two and a half hours and foods still not come. Had to leave eventually as the others had plans. Waited over an hour for glasses for my drink even after asking several members of staff. One pool is okay but extremely deep (8ft), the other pool was green. Sunbed I was on was broken, and drinks by the pool included a long wait time as well, 30 minutes at a bar waiting. Overall not a great time. No sure why it's so well reviewed, when we went to complain the manager just stood there with a grin on his face, didn't offer us anything even after everything. He seemed like this services was completely normal. Would not recommend. If I could give no stars I would.
