The 3 bd villa was superb, great AC, WiFi, balcony, facilities, the works. Staff was very attentive and insanely quick in solving any issues. Parking right in front and easy to find the villas. Restaurant up stairs is actually quite tasty albeit lacking atmosphere (super simple). It was super windy the whole time (in the entire area) so we couldn’t enjoy the beach and the sea was filled with floating ****s. Generally speaking I think the riviera has better beaches, but the Amumal Playa is just 15 min walk. We used the time for going to cenotes, Tulum and Coba and the villas is an amazing center to do it from…

Loved our stay here, so peaceful and serene! A pleasant surprise to have free kayak access right out our doorstep! The rooms and resort were beautiful and so clean. It felt secluded, yet walking distance by beach to several deliciously eateries. Not many amenities/ activities on site- but a perfect place to relax in peace

This is shown as a three-star hotel but in my opinion it is much closer to a two-star. The refrigerator in my unit did not work and was not repaired. while I was here.The toilet broke and there was no one who could attend to it until the next day. There is a pool, but it is small and dominated by the front units. The front desk was polite but not very helpful. The restaurant is not good. A coffee maker is provided but no coffee and finding coffee in Akumal is a challenge (the 7-Eleven seem to be the best bet). Akumal Playa in general is very beautiful, but this property is located on a less desirable piece of it and the swimming is not so great in front of the property. I would not recommend this property to a friend.

The rooms are clean and spacious. It is quiet and relaxing on the property. You need a car to be able to visit Tulum or Akumal. There was an unexpected power and water outage from 9am-12pm during our stay. We had to negotiate for a complementary breakfast the following morning, nothing was provided to guests to compensate for this major inconvenience. Otherwise, we had a good stay here. I would consider staying here again based on rooms and facilities.

Beautiful place and location and staff were an A plus especially Elizabeth at the front desk.

I’ve stayed at this property during high season many times in their 2 bedroom condos. There’s more staff at that time it seems. I stayed in their Junior Suite. There was a sulfur smell that was unpleasant and it seemed like there were washing machines above. Cleaning staff good. The restaurant was just pitiful. Food and service 2 stars. I had to go into Akumal to eat. $20 cab ride each way. Jungle Fish is a 3 minute walk. Food and service goood there. No breakfast there though. What saved the week for me was the WhatsApp concierge service offered. Great communication and service offered by LAS Villas Akumal.

Staff very friendly. Villa clean and bed very comfortable.
