My room was poorly cleaned, even found a babies dummy lying on the floor behind the bedside table. Won’t be staying there again, there’s a reason it’s so cheap.

Exactly what I wanted for the week spent in Albury, close to everything, clean and comfortable, staff really friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Arrived early. Staff accommodated me straight away. Pleasant room. Will stay again.

Looking at the reviews glad we didn't stay. Owner promised refund after booking 2 rooms so went ahead with cancellation 20 minutes after booking. Despite promises no refund received. Owner pocketed our nearly $200 and then would have re-let room. Beware, owner has no ethics. Claims on the website he has a 99.9% satisfaction rate which is indicative of the type of people you're dealing with. Steer well clear! Owner was also extremely rude over the whole affair, probably the worst encounter ever experienced with a hotel owner who usually have some desire to at least give an appearance of customer service.

We were driving home from interstate and decided to stay in Albury as we were getting tired. We came across the Albury Central Motel. Upon arrival, the owner came to the door and was very friendly and helpful. He offered us the last available room for the evening. He personally walked outside, showed us where our room was and where we could park. The room was large, clean and well set out. I note a lot of reviews comment on the age and layout of the property. They seem to expect a 5 star resort for a 3 star price. For the price paid, it is a great property. It is not expensive, and considering the high inflation at the moment, it helps to keep costs low. The bed was comfortable with spare pillows in the cupboard. It had a large TV and the owner provided milk for our morning cup of tea. I would recommend this motel if you are looking for somewhere cheap, and have reasonable expectations given the lower price. If you are looking for a spa resort, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a older, clean building with friendly owners, then perhaps this is the place for you. I will be staying here again when we go to Albury.

Heartbroken. I stupidly booked this place for a 2nd time unknowingly. We booked this place as a halfway point between Melbourne and N.S.W. in May 2021 so we could attend my husband's grandfather's 99th birthday, covid stopped that as we were not allowed across the border (the hotel took our money, even after discussing the issue) fast forward 12 months and now excited to attend a 100th birthday ...NOPE .... he has covid. I realise great we have booked the same hotel a year later. We again message them with the situation. Nope we lose our money again. There will be no 3rd time. Shouldn't have been a second really. Buyer beware in the world of covid where nothing is straight forward and everything is unknown.
