Honestly, when reading the reviews of others, I'm wondering how it is possible that I have such a different impression from this hotel. Not that this hotel was the worst experience of my life : obviously this is a hotel on the cheaper end of the market, but sometimes these type of hotels are still very new, clean, comfortable, isolated, modern... which is basically everything you cannot say about this hotel. The rooms, bathrooms, hallways etc are a bit dodgy to say the least. Again, if you don't mind, and if you don't mind that the shower is of the size and comfort of what you would find in a camper car, and if you only stay here for one night (like I did), at a budget price, this hotel might be OK for you. As far as I'm concerned, I had hotels that were a lot better, even in France, even of the same chain at prices that were not that much different than this one. For sure I will not come back to this hotel, unless I really have to.

We used the hotel for the Angouleme comics festival. With accommodations always difficult to get for that time of year, I think it worked out (especially since there was a shuttle for guests who had professional badges for the show this year 2024 ). However, there was definitely some culture shock for those used to US hotel accommodations. For instance lack of staff during check-in time (it’s done with an a**-style machine on the outside of the building, you get a code to use to enter the exterior door and your room door). We arrived a little early and luckily the cleaning staff let us put our baggage I our room (which was not ready yet). So don’t count on leaving luggage if you don’t have room access. Also, the hallway and bathroom had a mildew smell. The room was clean though. The bathroom was very small and so was the shower. There luckily is a bus route to take you to the town center near the hotel which is great, but the bus does not run on Sundays. So I’d recommend it if you need a place to stay in the area during a busy festival when it’s hard to find places, but be aware it doesn’t have the usual hotel services.

Great hotel, comfortable and quiet. Wished they provided some room amenities like coffee etc is rated as a 3 star hotel

The hotel is a good value for the money, very good location and clean rooms. Comfortable bed. The breakfast is fresh. The car park is more than enough for all the guests. I recommend the hotel for everybody who comes for 2-3 days. The large bed option is the best.

We knew this was a budget hotel when we booked but, given the high price, we weren't expecting such a tiny room. Very very basic with small bathroom and shower you could hardly turn around in. Comfy bed, clean, and reasonable breakfast but expensive for what it was. We've stayed in cheaper, better hotels!

The B&B is a very bleak hotel with an industrial box approach to accommodation. Despite paying for four nights accommodation in advance we left after first night and found somewhere far better. (

Great stay easy access to food places
